The only FF game I've ever played is Final Fantasy Fables: Chocobo's dungeon.
But I'll vote for Crystal Chronicles...since it'll be easier for me to play it since I have a game cube. =___=

How about a none option? I've played a few, finished none, but the type of game it represents isn't exactly one that I like.

Since there isn't a none option I'll go for "I've never played an FF game".

VII was the first FF I ever played, and thus near and dear. I will have to say the best mini game with an FF game was Blitzball, hands down.

Final Fantasy will never spin in a game console owned by myself.

I voted for VII, but I can agree with anyone who voted for VI, VIII, or IX. I still haven't played 2 - 5, but I have the games, and eventually I'll play them. I guess I like VII so much since it was the first that I played in the series, but the game itself was great. Recently, I went through and played through VII, VIII, IX, and XII. Even though I know it isn't liked by most people, I actually enjoyed 12 (the only problem was the lack of character in the characters). I wasn't very fond of X. I guess the main reason is because I hated the main character (Tidus), and most other characters. I really think the only good characters in X were Yuna and Auron. The others, although they weren't as horrible as Tidus, just didn't do it for me. I definitely think that VI - IX should be at the top of this poll, but that's just me.

I forgot to add. VII will always be edged into my memory because it has the saddest scene I have ever seen in a video game. Grant it, there are no words like X or XII, and the graphics are horrible compared to the newer games, but the way the scene was done as well as the music (saddest song I've ever heard in a video game) made that the saddest thing I've ever seen in a video game. I played through VII 4 times now, and in the most recent play through, I was actually brought to tears when I saw that infamous FFVII scene. All the graphics in the world, and all the voice actors have yet to capture the same intensity and sadness that one scene in VII has captured (the closest was in MGS 2 and 3, I have yet to play 4, but I can imainge it would be close as well). I just think it takes some real talent to do that, and it is a good way to measure just how well a game was made.

FFVIII is the first FF I played and FFVII followed after. I found both of them extremly good but I just liked FFVIII better. I was a student back when I played so I guess the setting and storyline of VIII was more interesting for me.

Xenogears pawns them both though!!!!!!!!

i've never played one, never had a console of any kind.

hum... so i guess you didn't know that at least 3 of them can be played on the PC... FFVII, FFVIII and FFIX

so basically saying you don't have a console can't rule out that you couldn't play any of them...

ffVI is the best, followed by 7 them 8... then it all went downwards... 9 was clidishly annoying, 10 was boring.. 11 was mediocre... then i stopped playing FF games... i have played every FF game released till FF11... even the adventure games and the japanese-only released..... but the good games went away, just as Mr.Sakaguchi left S-E...

Squaresoft is a franchise company now... it release games like McDonalds sells it's burgers... they are massively produced to sell a lot but got no soul into them...

I also feel in love with FFVIII when I replayed it recently. I remember the first time I played it, I couldn't comprehend the whole junction thing and it made the game extremely difficult. Also, at the time, I thought the story sucked. However, when I replayed it, I found the story was actually very good. The junction system, when you get the hang of it, is actually pretty simple, and it can make the game extremely easy (I went through the first 3 discs at lvl 10, and I was doing 1000 damage by the first few boss fights). I think the best aspect of the game was the story, though. I haven't played the first 5, but it seems like FFVIII was the first true love story. I thought it was done very well. I'd say FFVIII is a close second next to FFVII, but VI and IX were close as well.

At the moment, I'm playing FFXII, cause my friend swore it was the best FF game since FFIX.
I love FFXII to pieces but I prefer Crisis Core.
but then I've yet to play 8 and 9, which he says is better then 7. I'm still looking for them.

I voted FF VIII because I really liked the main character and how he changed during the course of the game. I also started a bit less epic way than other ones (taking down biggest empire, taking down corporation that owns the world).
