i've been riding for few years.. and loving it.. no matter how many times i fell down and ruined my jeans and skin. but i'm addicted to it. the wind running through your hair as you accelerate and turning at the corner. and i must say.. the best of time is when you ride too fast, that you think it's only you and the speed in this world, then something unexpected happens.. and when you open your eyes, it hurts, but the thrill is addictive. just the thought of coming back alive is a thrill. remembering the moment when you almost hit the ground.. it boils my blood.. so yea..

wait.. back on topic..(told ya it's addictive)

i ride my brother's bike when i was 13-15. but it's crappy. suzuki RG sport. it's not a bad bike, but it's trashed. we sold it for 300.. that's like barely hit a 100 in US currency..

and around 08 i got a new bike. yamaha 125 zr. it's not a bad bike, but only 124 cc.
during highschool, sure, it's a chick magnet around here. but, i'm college student now.. i want something bigger, faster.. a Honda CBR 1000 RR with ABS .. 12k US dollar.. i need to win a lotto...

anyway.. i don't think ima give up riding a bike ever. a car make me sleepy..

p/s: when someone said it is impossible for you to fall asleep or get sleepy when riding a bike, they are LYING. i fell asleep and ruined my jeans and palms and knee.. i'm the living proof that we can fell asleep while riding.

was moving at 50miles per hour btw..

THIS IS SOMETHING WHAT ONE OF MY FRIENDS WROTE AND I MUST SAY THAT I COULDNT AGREE MORE.

Most motorcyclists who I know will say that ryding a bike gives the feeling of freedom. Of course, this feeling can not be described. They heard those few famous phrases of the Rousseau: "Man is born free, but everywhere put in the chain." I am him. And I know that freedom is only an illusion. The illusion that the driving a bike gives. The bike does not make you any more free than. And no less.

However, on a bike you do have more choice than they have "the ordinary mortal". Therefore, this feeling. But more choice also brings greater danger. Risk to health and life.

When I ride a bike, I am king. King of the road. King of the moment. Decide on how fast I ride. I do not get tight in the rules set by the man (the payment of penalties is something, which I accepted and deald with it long ago). Any vehicle gets in my way. If I catch up a column I go by them. I do not wait for any thing, not the Toll Station, not at the border, not at the traffic light. Nowhere. If I only choose so. The decision is in my head. If you want to enjoy the speed, spin the handle. If I prefer to go slower, I drive slower. As I want. I do not mind the heat, I do not mind the rain. I do not fear the wind or a fog.

On the road we are elite. It does not matter how much the machine between my legs is worth. Important is that you sit on something, which is the most incomprehensible. Therefore, we are elite.

From the fingers on the hands to toes I feel the buzzing, vibration, something neither can explain. Feel the engine, the bike you ride. However, this has a price. The first is concentration. The most important thing. On the bike I have to be fully concentrated, because each mistake is to be paid. Such a concentration in a situation that is not natural, brings fatigue. Incredible fatigue. Therefore, I have to be in shape, psychological and physical! All the time. Pay attention to everything going on the road. Details must not be missed.

I am the king, but I am not God! God is immortal, I am not.

Other price is risk. Riding a bike is, be realistic, dangerous think to do. More because of the other participants of road traffic than me. Some are incautious, some aggresive, maybe stupid. Others are lost in dreams, absent-minded or even tired. When I am on the bike, I am in the war. In the war against all others. Every car, every bike is the enemy. Every pedestrian, dog, a cat presents a danger. Every stone, sand can be fatal. I am on a bike, alone against natural forces. Defies the law of nature, defies the gods.

I have always loved motorcycles, it's in my blood. Both my parents had their licenses, as well as my step-father, whose Honda was so much fun to ride. Currently, I don't have the money to buy a bike, but would like to do so within the next few years.

talk about feeling when riding a bike, it's a wonderful feeling.

got in fight with family members, few things broken, many things said, knives thrown in every direction. only anger and hatred rest in me.

i took my almost dead/broken/shattered bike, and ride. first, it's fast and crazy. and then slow and steady. and the wind blows calms my heart. prevented me from killing somebody that night.

yes, bike has bigger risk than cars, and "alone against forces of nature"? that sounds thrilling.

surviving a crash, gave me a rush like no other. not that i would put my life in harms way on purpose, nor to say it was worth it. but, the feeling.. well, it's good.

I'm a guy, never ridden a motorcycle, but I would like to. They seem fun and exciting.

My only problem is that they're loud. Sometimes I hear one on my street late at night, and I get the feeling they enjoy disturbing the peace :/

I think motorcylces are cool, but I would never ride one-It just seems a little too dangerous (this comes from someone who gets a bit nervous in cars) dead

But I admire the courage of people who ride them, so long as they aren't the idiots who swerve in and out of traffic and onto pathways and speed way too fast.

Been on a dirt bike once, that was about it. Would love to learn more and eventually buy one. Once I get to place that doesn't have over half the year of snow.

Selling my R1 (see first page) and getting either a FZ1N or a Triumph Speed Triple soon. Maybe sometime in June.

I'm still financially dependent on my folks and ever since my mom's motorcycle accident two years ago, I'm barely even allowed on the back of my Dad's Harley. One of the first things I'm going to do when I get out of college is learn how to drive one.

Female, and I put it past my mum if I could get a licence for one.

Resounding no from her laugh So car license it is!

Apart from all the noise they make (especially when the drivers rev their engines, mostly showing off, especially in cyprus laugh ) I like them. Convienient with traffic, but prone to more accidents.
