Man...I'm neither for or against this tag but...
A thread 5 pages long over a tag on a series? Is it really that important?

This thread isn't about it being important or not, so I kindly ask not to derail it.

Dude, relax.
You were told what needed to be done in order for the genre to be changed.
If you can't deliver - I'm not a believer.

Well, he is right according to the definitions. By the vague definition on the English Wikipedia and here on MU - so many mangas/manhwas fall into this category.
Since Wikipedia is so important. Check the Japanese page on harem (manga/anime). Just use google translate, it sufficient. According to the Japanese, Spanish, and Russian page - The Gamer does not fall under this category. How about that? It's stating multiple definitions. The English one is not correct and just described it loosely because they failed to define it.
No one is forcing you to read the spoiler tag list, but this is an example of where the English Wikipedia and MU definition would work according my memory:
The list would be so much longer. Some would even be reverse harem and harem at the same time. Well, it would be approximately 30-50% of all manga/anime. And just ridiculous, going by such definition. Harem would not mean anything. Check the history of this genre tag and don't be so blinded by these defintions.
And change the description on harem on this site, and the problem is solved?
Adding something like: "multiple girls/guys going after the unclaimed protagonist" or "story focusing on protagonist ending with at least one love interest". It's hard, but it would be alright.
Basically, it's the definition that is ambigious. This guy is not wrong even if we all know he is as to what harem actually involves. Yet he is not wrong according to the definition. Indirectly, he wants to put the harem tag on 30-50% of all manga/anime but he is right on "wanting" that, according to the definition of MU's and Wikipedia's English article about manga/anime harem.
Of course though... While he is right, he failed with his reading comprehension just like the lot of you The Gamer is neither manga nor anime. Therefore it's impossible to be harem according to his own definition from Wikipedia that leaves your definition only. Just change it to "anime/manga" and it is settled He has no say in this as wikipedia is the source of truth. He couldn't possibly disagree with wikipedia, right?
yes, I could be wrong in places Just like the English wikipedia page

As I already stated, we will not be adding harem to this series, and we will not be changing the description for the genre either
