Hey,
I'm desperately looking for a manga which name I forgot.
It's not anything new, I read it about ten years ago at my cousin's house in Vietnam, but when i asked her about it she couldn't remember it and she'd already sold all her mangas.
The manga was translated into Vietnamese.
The art was kind of old-fashioned and simple, without much screentones and such.

I think that one of the protagonist was a short haired blond and really talented girl, probably in junior High or high school.
There was a boy she liked who was liked by another girl too. That girl was a ballet dancer and challenged the protagonist to compete against her.
I remember clearly that the protagonist went with the guy into a park to watch the movements of swans and that she danced on the competion like a swan (probably swan lake).
The other girl who challeged her danced Pinocchio!!!

I really hope that someone knows this manga!

If not, the manga you are looking for sounds like it is based on Swan Lake. Hope that narrows your search.

I don't really believe it was Princess Tutu though.
The manga didn't seem to be fantasy and the protagonist was already in middle school or high school.
Still, I will go and check if you're right

Hm... Actually I don't think the manga was based on ballet and swan lake >.<
That was just one episode of the manga.
But I'm not sure anyway lol
