I want an action manga where a guy is almost always with a girl and acts like her guardian or knight by protecting her. It would be nice if there is some romance but i dont want the focus of the manga to be like that cause i dont like sappy romances. Implied romance would be okay. Example of guardian mangas are Sesshomaru and Rin in Inuyasha and Kenpachi Zaraki and Yachiru Kusajishi in Bleach. Since im looking for a little bit of romance, the guy and girl should be around the same age, instead of in the two examples i gave. 😛

I recomend fate stay night...Although it's an anime/game rather than the manga (was there even such a manga for it?).

Although it's a girl protecting a guy, but then there is rin/archer which sorta fits.

There are a lot of manga with the guy protecting a girl, since it's practically the most basic theme, but it's hard to find it without any romance involved 🤢
anyway, I'm gonna try a few titles you listed guys, since I just recently became interested in this kind of guardian relationship too 😎 😀
