I got recommended by my adoring friend to join this forum, so here I am. ^^ Using her computer... with her lurking over my shoulder... reading as I type this. Haha.

I am 23 years old, and reside in Toronto, Canada. I've been living here for about 6 months now, and have lived in Spain most of my life. I am Australian-Spanish, a very strange combination, I know. My father is Australian, and my mother is Spanish. I was born in Australia, but moved to Spain at age 4. I moved to Japan for 5 years to live with my brother after my mom went psycho. I didn't wanna move, and argued a lot when I was set to move, but moving there was one of my best things that happened to me. ^^; Was originally only planned for 1 year, but stayed for 5 years. XD I moved back to Spain for 2 more years, and finally, Canada.

Interesting facts about me:

- I'm fluent in English, Spanish and Japanese
- I have lived in 4 different continents throughout my entire life!
- I took the entrance exam to Todai (University of Tokyo) with one of my best friends. Yes I did, I did! I completely failed it though, and never tried again. laugh I settled for the local college near my house, though, haha.
- I, fortunately, got accepted into U of T (University of Toronto)
- I minor in Japanese
- I held a job at J-Town (Japanese store here in Toronto) for a few months, in the books section biggrin Felt like being back in Japan
- My manga collection compromises of over 2,000 Japanese volumes, and over 500 English volumes (and hundreds of magazine issues)
- I work part time, and 50% of my paycheck goes towards manga, 25% towards anime, and the other 25% towards school and other stuff
- I live with two kitties, they are my best friends ^^
- I love manga and anime, it's a passion I quickly developed while I lived in Japan
- I read, on average, 25 volumes of manga weekly
- I watch, on average, 15 episodes of anime weekly
- I have subscriptions to over 10 manga magazines - Weekly Shounen Jump, Weekly Shounen Magazine, Hana to Yume, Dengeki Daioh, Betsucomi, LaLa, Jump SQ, Sho-Comi, Betsuhana, Cheese!, Petit Comic, Yuri Hime, and 2-3 more I'm forgetting
- I'm probably the biggest manga nerd you've ever met (sorry, I never use the term "otaku" as in Japan, it's an offensive term, and take offense to being called that)
- My father is very wealthy
- I love sailor school uniforms - my high school in Japan had a sailor uniform, omfg. Cutest thing ever. ;P I wonder if I can find a pic of it, I really wanna share how awesome it is.

...

That's about it.

Sorry for boring you, but hi!

She says hi, lol.

I know it's used jokingly around in these kinda sites, but I'm so used to it being offensive, so... ^^;

It's like if you call a gay person a "faggot". That's very offensive, but let's say in another country it's not meant as harshly... still, you're kinda used to the offensive meaning of it.

Sorry for babbling, lol.
