And it's an hour train ride to get there too(for me~) D: . They sell Madman ones as well, (which are translated by Australians?) and that's around... 15-16 bucks. It's usually more expensive then Other companies, like Tokyopop.

ah lol, yea, my parents used to buy me manga, until they realized it was produced in japan. Then they stopped letting me read it, something about "those japanese devils will corrupt your mind." Hence I started more online reading .

I'm a student in England living away from home, I have 3 casual jobs to squeeze in around my demanding course and socialising so I don't get a whole lot of money. Half the time I can barely afford food let alone manga at £7 (approx $14 I think) a volume. Iwould love to buy some of my favourite published mangas but it's just so expensive. Most manga over here is Tokyopop though slowly but surely we are getting an influx of others, I still rely on scanlators online to get most of my manga which annoys me but I can only treat myself to a new manga volume very rarely so like to read before hand in order to ensure I'll like what I'm buying.

I think when I do get money to buy manga, I'm just gonna be extremely cheap and still pirate from scanlations. After all, a external harddrive can fit more manga than my entire room

Oh no $16 top... i wish i could get it that cheap, mine starts at 17 and its the cheapest place i can find and i live in a capital city, melb for aussies.

^It's that damn Aussie inflation rate/custom rates. A Mesa Boogie lonestar cost 1500 in the states and 5000 in Australia.

Hmm. Why not just, oh, buy the cheap imported Japanese versions and read the translations online? The Japanese books are soooo much cheaper. Even the full colourChii's Sweet Home with a nice little dust jacket (Which hardly any American books have) costs less than a black&white Tokyopop $10 manga. Is it worth the sacrifice of not being able to entirely understand it? Yeah!

and if you really love the series why not buy it? its like telling the author to make one again in the future for us to read. well im not saying that you buy all those manga but at least try to support your most loved manga series for me its kawashita mizuki, since im just an average person with class C lifestyle. it took me a lot of time to complete the mangga...... T____T *ouch*

The best price I've found for the Japanese volumes, counting shipping charges, is generally about the same as buying the US version on sale or with a good coupon. I do buy the Japanese volumes if I really love the manga, along with the US versions, but goodness, it does add up. (~_~)'
