I'm still pretty intact. laugh
Stupid question though: Does it hurt the first time in a good way or a bad way? You know.? I wonder.. none

Yeah I said the same thing. I feel so old all of a sudden...some people were 14, my god I'm four years older than that and still a virgin.
But I was wondering the same thing about the pain. And is it even painful for guys?

No. Shouldn't in the least. Not if you're circumcised anyway. No idea what problems an uncircumcised penis might cause.

Yeah but you can say that we get the short end of the stick in terms of pleasure derived from sex. Most women can have multiple orgasms in a short span of time if stimulated properly. All but the rarest of men can only orgasm once before going into a refractory period, which is a recovery phase where it is physiologically impossible to have another orgasm.

What's really odd is my husband and I are the exact opposite of that. He is the one who can multi.

As for hurting - I didn't know it was "supposed" to hurt until some time after I lost my virginity. I didn't feel any pain in the slightest (at 18). So, there is at least the possibility that it won't hurt at all (either in a good or bad way).

Well it's not set in stone. For women there are three or four basic patterns of orgasm.

The 'regular' pattern, where your arousal raises to an excited state, and then climax is reached and then you sink back down to an excited state and after a short resolution period are able to climax again.

A second pattern where the woman doesn't climax, and instead she reaches a plateau in the excited stage and stays there. This pattern has a really long resolution period, so the 'afterglow' lasts a long time.

Then there's a third pattern that is the exact opposite of the second one. The woman rockets up to climax, skipping the plateau at the exited stage altogether, and has a very fast resolution period. It's basically a rollercoaster.

And the fourth pattern is similar to the typical male pattern. Arousal to excitement and a plateau, followed by fast resolution period and long refractory period.

Wow how do I remember all of this? I took Sexual Psychology almost a year ago.

Buy yeah I'm glad to give up multiple orgasms for not having to deal with pregnancy and all that crap. Sounds like a good deal to me biggrin

it wasn't painful for me at all.

it is all about foreplay. if you are wet enough of use a lubricant, you probably won't hurt.

or you might be too busy to even notice the pain. hopefully.
laugh

Technically I knew the difference between circumcised and uncircumcised but I always wondered what the big difference was for guys, and that's it..sensitivity. Ah but it depends how good you are at it. laugh

You're one of the few that actually think about the consequences. Big thumbs up for you! bigrazz

I'd like to see statistics here though. There should have been a poll: are you a virgin? "yes," "no," "idk," or "in between" because you know there will be girls who vote for the last two, looks like they still believe in the whole in between stuff. roll

Women seem to fear the purging of their sanctity (losing their virginity, in simple terms). Or admitting to it anyway. Is this because of the antiquated idea that men prefer un-bedded virgins, or is it something they truly don't want to admit to themselves that they gave up?

Probably a repeat question but I am NOT searching to check.

Well I've met girls who always asked me it I was a virgin or not and if I know the person I would answer truthfully nothing wrong with that, but when I asked them the same thing some prefer not to answer. I guess they were ashamed, which I find ridiculous. There's nothing wrong with not being a virgin. But others, often guys look down on girls who aren't. It's okay to have experience there's nothing wrong with it; however there is a limit to how much experience one can have. Girls nowadays believe that being experienced is bad, why? because that's what most guys make them believe in.

Bu there is also peer-pressure. When I was in high school, girls would always label non virgins as sluts, which is why no one would admit to not being one, because they feared being labeled as something that other girls regarded as immoral. Girls often don't admit to such a thing because they know the truth may not be what others want to here.

That's just my opinion though.
