Could anyone recommend to me a nice, long femslash novel - fanfiction or original - that is available online for free? I've read many published books with lesbian content, but I want online fiction that I can read while I'm, um, supposed to be doing other things. If you know what I mean.
Like I said, either fan or original fiction is acceptable, as long as it's got a) a leading lesbian couple and b) great writing. NOT erotica, please! I want actual plot. Which is why I'm asking for a novel-length story.
Fire away...!
Edit: Lolwut, I thought I'd posted this in the Yuri section. Apparently not. Um. Sorry? Please put this in the right section, mods! Forgive my foolishness! <3

@Reiz0r: Um. *scuffs shoe shyly* Thanks? You're, um, cute, too. Bunny-cute. Zombie!bunny cute, even.
Are people allowed to flirt in the forums? Probably not, which is why I shall return to the (sad, sad) reality of being on-topic (sad, sad!) and will add a recommendation of my own - The Well of Loneliness, which I originally read in book-format, but which I recently re-discovered on Gutenberg. One of the original classics. Beautiful, if tragic. OH, LESBIANS, WHY SO SAD. PROBABLY BECAUSE THEY COULD NOT FLIRT ON FORUMS.
On a happier note! Here's Chatoyant College, about three girls (one of whom is a confirmed lesbian) attending a college for magic. A very well-adjusted, sweet group of friends. And there is a plot! Plots. Oodles of plotses.
Also! I remember reading this awesome novel about a female gladiator (GLADIATORS ARE HAWT, OKAY) and I'm kind of... looking for it. Um. Has anyone seen it? Oh! And the gladiator's a dyke, obviously. (Obviously.)
@Hisomu: Yes, that is cool like Monster! (The movie, I mean, with the lesbians. Not the. You know.) But I'm looking for novels. As in, text novels. Preferably.

Thank you, Rainy Days!
AND BRUCIE-KUN, YE BRINGER OF GOODNESS! You've reminded me that I need to see the BBC series! I'd read the novel but somehow never got around to the series...

I haven't read these yet but they sound interesting...I think ^_^
Ash and Huntress, both by Malinda Lo. I found them online, so you should be able to, too.
I've never read lesbian novels before! It's got me quite excited. I have Fingersmith on my computer as well; now I just have to find the time to read them
Well of Loneliness sounds a little too gloomy, though. I don't like tragic romances much. They make me laugh, and they're not supposed to do that, so...yeah.
