looking for some recent manga that's gritty with super powers or special weapons

Gantz, Death Note, Attack on Titan, Ghost in the Shell

no old manga, i haven't read manga for a few years now so i'd like to get back into it... so if you name something older i've either read it or avoided reading it

+1 for Goblin Slayer.

Note that the line between gritty and edgy is a fine and subjective one, I'll just recommend some stuff that might fit the bill.

Kasane (MATSUURA Daruma) maybe, been out a while and only shades of fantasy.

Ryuuma no gagou hasn't updated in ages though.

Very dark, but not 100% gritty-

Seconding The promised neverland but its not super gritty, kid protagonists-so quite shounen but very dark and the plot is great.

Maybe Kimetsu no yaiba, its got a lot of action, gore and tragedy but it is still a shounen with shounen comedic undertones.

Ayanashi

Kekkai sensen mostly gritty, sometimes not.

Birdmen maybe, unsure if it counts as gritty...probably more in the slightly lighter shounen category.

Smokin' parade its dark, gory, probably gritty ish but not 100%

Wombs, off the top of my head.
