I've seen many people confused with the end, which [in my opinion] was so rushed we didn't even get the oportunity to enjoy... nor UNDERSTAND.

SO, to clear your doubts...

Read the next few lines to get the Main Idea:
Spoiler (highlight to view)
Woo Joo In is the one who died in the crash. [the cute-friendly guy => identify him by his Hairband]. Basically, he'd known Han Hye Won for a long time, and Sun Woo Bin even knew it before they started dating. There's a chapter where Joo In says he should date her [to protect her, I think] and Sun Woo Bin says "if that's OK with you..."
From Vol04 Ch05 Pg 19 onwards starts the recollection of Woo Joo In:
He basically doesn't have much time to live. He was on drugs for his despair of his illness[?]... that was when he saw Hye Won in trouble, but could not save her. He regretted it. In the hopsital, he got to know that her name is Han Hye Won. Basically, he fell in love with her before the incident happened. He asks Woo Bin to date her because he is strong and can protect her [and also revenge her]. At the last chapter you can finally see his dull death. If he was supposed to die from an illness and survived that long, why killing him at the freaking last chapter?

Or re-read the Following Pages:
[Vol.1 Ch.1.1 Page2-13]
[Vol.1 Ch.1.2 Page17-20]
[Vol.1 Ch.2 Page 4]
[Vol.2 Ch.2 Page23-24,41-42] Important!! Read this whole Volume to get the whole picture.
[Vol.3 Ch.1 Page14-34]
[Vol.3 Ch.2 Page31-34]
[Vol.5 Ch.1 Page34-37]
[Vol.5 Ch.2 Page4-6]
[Vol.5 Ch.3 Page38-44]
[Vol.5 Ch.4] The Last Chapter of the whole story.
(if u do not understand the particular page, please read the whole Chapter itself to get a bigger picture)

Thanks japkorox91 for the borrowed list.

I totally agree that the story is rushed. I just recently finished reading this manhwa and I really have to say the ending was the best part about this whole series. It's definitely hard to understand but
Spoiler (highlight to view)
from what I've read, I think Woo Joo (the guy who died) had some self-esteem or internal conflict which made him rather reserved about his feelings for Hye Won and never got the courage to reveal his feelings to her because he couldn't protect her and stay by her side due to health issues. What baffles me is that he was portrayed so strong near the beginning that health would be the last thing one would think about. Years after he met her in the incident, he is portrayed as a cute guy with a tough side from seeing him in the gang rival fights. It sort of doesn't make sense how strong he was portrayed and we still don't know what kind of illness it is.
This story definitely is one of a kind partially due to conflicting actions by the character but this is definitely a surprise one would not expect. The ending really switches the importance of characters. All the things going on with the other characters just seem unimportant to me comparing to the ending. This really makes me think that love has no boundaries. In this case it's a

serious unrequited love that was not revealed till the end of their life.
It's sad and this in my opinion makes it a great read. biggrin

the guy who

died at the end had a lot of potential story line.

even for the past of the leading girl.
i LOVE the story but seriously... that was it?
I've been reading a lot of manhwa (including some from hwang mi ri) and i've noticed,... korean mangakas seems like doesnt know how to end their good stories WITH good ending!!!!
I'm not saying a happily ever after ending,, but at least not rushed.
A LOTT of manhwa's i've read that are popular (and some arent) in the internet always make me incline to the story... but the end just... hmmm.. the ending is always just too bold (lol).

You know... i was kinda confused at the end.. i thought something is going on in with woo joon's mind~~ if you hadnt explained that .....
Spoiler (mouse over to view)

him wanting to protect her that he chose to give her up to Bin
