pinoyski here.
currently in baguio...
if i were to name 3 faves that really stuck to me:
I's -first manga i read. Given to me in highschool some 8 years ago.
GTO - unreal yet so real....
20th century boys - awakened me to the power of manga. Really liked this more than Monster although maybe because i read it first.
Anyweiz i'm doing nothing these days and would like to read a really long manga, preferably complete ones. I would like my kababayans (countrymen) to recommend me some if you have time over here: http://www.mangaupdates.com/showtopic.php?tid=7352&pa ge=1#post194830

YO GUYS!! ANOTHER FILIPINO HERE.
Man, this thread is old. LOL BUMPED, I guess.
Hm, seeing that it's almost been like more than 6 years, I wonder if there are more active these days?
Anyhow, I got few cheap on-sale hard copy manga I bought almost 2 years ago in which "I think" that are original ranging from 75-150 Philippine Peso (1.70-3.30 US Dollars). I bought them on Booksale and luckily and one of limited on-sale near where I live. They're, I believe, Brand New since they were still sealed. I never buy manga unless they're on sale lol so I just trust Booksale and other bookstores and who do percent off-sales off for manga.

I'm a Filipina from Manila. Manga is pretty popular here and there are many anime events but I've never been into one. I have many favorites but I guess if i have to pick it would be yakitate japan, eyeshield21, tower of god and sket dance
