I've tried contacts, but I didn't like it, so I wear glasses.

I have glasses I wear in class.
I started wearing them 'round freshmen year.
I'm near-sighted. 8(
And one eye has a different degree than the other. o____O

I need to wear my glasses otherwise I can't see anything clearly thats in the distance. It's just blocks of fuzzy colours

I don't wear them all the time however. I don't need them to sit and read or do work, or when I'm on the computer, so I take them off.

I haven't tried contacts yet. I don't mind wearing my glasses anyway.

I'm nearsighted as well.

It's largely due to me sitting too close to the television when I was young and this freak accident that made blood come out of my eyes due to some pink eye medicine.

Don't wear glasses but my eyesight is pretty damn horrible.
I was born with severe Cateract in my left eye and mild in my right.
Which is a real pain, since my left eye is damn near useless, and my right eye is too sensitive to light. Which means I have migrains easily and I need to wear sunglasses quite often, even when others feel there is no need to. People looking at you funny for wearing sunglasses on a cloudy day gets annoying fast.
And since my eye picks up more light than it should, the range at which I can succesfully read things is about half of most people.

There is the option of surgery though, but that would involve yanking out the lens in my right eye and inserting a synthetic one. Which would result in me needing glasses and only a slight increas in sight.
My left eye is already shot, no surgeon can fix that thing.

So I voted blind, since one of my eyes pretty much is.

I've got 20/20 vision but there's no option for light sensitive. I wear prescription sunglasses. The lenses are darkened beyond the standard. Is it really that rare?
