I like both, and I think shotacon is the best of the two. Or the least wrong we could say.

You bring up a good point, but I read somewhere that those who read/watch any porn of any sort begin to want more, to want to act on their fantasies.
So when it comes to pedophiles, children draw the extremely short straw. But I guess stuff like lolicon and shotacon might be able to hold them off a bit...
What I think is that it could work out but is all in the selfcontrol. If you watch lolicon and shotacon 12 hours a day is obvious you would want more and more. But if you watch a little every day, or not every day it could work out to let those "urges" go somewhere. And not repressing them until they explode and you end up kidnaping the nearest 10 year old girl around.
