Well, have you? I have a couple of times. I'll admit I do get very freaky ones. I've had cancer a couple of times, apparently But for some, I'm pretty sure they're accurate.
Right now I'm looking up on these finger spasms I've been getting. It's only on my index finger though and so far, the results are not looking so good
I think it's because I've been using the mouse for too long or something >_>
Still kinda freaky though...when you diagnose yourself to have something terrible...like spinal damage or nerve pinch :S
I remember watching one episode of house (the bipolar episode) where he saw a lady with a hand spasm that keeps coming back and says that she's dying soon...and it's freaking me out!
So yeah, have you ever self-diagnosed yourself?

Always.
Usually when it's a mental illness, like bipolar, OCD, anorexia, or borderline personality disorder.
I diagnose other people in my mind too.

Hmm...I don't think so. I eat things off the floor - past 5 seconds or not I don't really take care of my health. Only when it's annoying then I get a little paranoid
and yeah...I googled that

Ha! That made me laugh, but only because I do it too!
Funny, 'bout the cancer thing... That will probably come up for EVERY self-diagnosis search.

Sounds like antisocial personality disorder to me. Or maybe you were being possessed!

yep, i have ADD (ADHD) for sure. i honestly fit into almost (if not all) the symptoms they gave for it sadly. i wish i didnt, because i'd be doing a lot better in my history class...
im especially getting on my english teacher's nerves because she hates people who interrupt her lectures without raising their hands... >.>
the only time i'm able to do school work is late at night (12-3AM) when everyone's asleep so there's no possible way i can be distracted, and even then i get distracted by things like MU..

Of course, nothing found.
You have to be human first for it to work Mams, you sure you qualify?
Myself, I looked up malaria once when I was in Egypt and had a bad cold, freaked myself out over nothing.

Always.
I always do it too.
I've diagnosed myself with lip cancer, I'm sure I have OCD and SAD(Seasonal Affective Disorder) but I'm still unsure if I'm bipolar.
There were times when I've diagnosed and cured myself by just relying on Google(I don't believe every thing it feeds me obviously).

I've self-diagnosed and been proven wrong and right at various times. I was diagnosed with something that wasn't even on the internet anywhere I could find. For example, I thought I had eczema, and I was actually diagnosed with a bacterial infection of the skin because steroids made it worse. This sounds gross, in actuality it was only a small red patch, not a big deal at all.
The internet is really best used to get information about an illness after you've been diagnosed. Amazingly enough I don't think any of us have gone through 4 years of undergrad, 3 years of med school, and how ever many years as a resident.
If you think you have a mental illness get help from a professional. There are treatments available and not alll of them are pharmaceutical. And I really hope that lightning90 is pulling some kind of joke.

I looked up learning disabilitys like Dyslexia, i found Developmental dyspraxia, and Asperger syndrome
I had an assesment done by a professional because at the time I had Dyslexia, and i found out that i had Asperger syndrome, dyspraxia and anxiety disorders
so Self Diagnose myself saved me in a way, my life is so much better now though one of my friends with Asperger syndrome thinks i'm bipolar as well (mild bipolar) and my mom Self Diagnose me with ADD too
apparently most of the disorders come with other disorders so it never ends T_T
but because i got assessed i meet my boyfriend who has Asperger syndrome too ^_^
