Now look what you did? You made come back and post some more insanely long posts
Ok. I have to agree that the Emperor is the only person who can order around the Knights of Round. But I mean would you decline if the son of that man who can orders you, gives you an order? Probably not, unless it is some totally insane order. It wouldn't make you look too good in front of others, or at least that's what I think.
To be honest, Lelouch is the one to blame. He did place the geass on him and now he wants him dead. Obviously nothing good can become of that. Lelouch was also the one who pushed Suzaku to the edge under the influence of geass. And Suzaku, as I've said in my earlier post, didn't have choice. Though I have to admit that Suzaku probably wouldn't have used Freiya (like this name more than FLEIA) if Nina wouldn't have said that it would save him. And yes, Suzaku was prepared to die than use Freiya, so it was 100% geass' fault. Only thing Suzaku didn't do, was retreat. That's pretty much the only thing you can blame him for.
And now to original topic.. I just don't like Suzaku, can't really say why. I guess it's because he is the typical "hero". And in the S2 Suzaku's been whining more and more. I really hate angst character. The main character of .Hack//SIGN was angst enough for one life time. In S1 he was ok because he determined and all. But Lelouch does what he says and he uses brains instead of muscle, which quite nice change for while. Usually all the heroes are all-around types or just the muscle type. It's nice to see someone really thinking about things. Just like me
Don't take me wrong here. I just enjoy a good debate. It's not like I'm a die hard fan of Code Geass, even though it is the best series currently airing. It's rather rare to be able to properly discuss about something. It's quite fun to watch something "intelligent". The usual shounen series, which I enjoy very much, are only about fighting and rarely offer anything intellectually challenging. To be honest I can't think of any other series than Geass that does that. So let's not take this too seriously just enjoy a good debate, right?
