The lead is a rich and very famous american who gets to fight some rather eccentric creations in this 60s oldschool manga. One is even a Lord of Death! That Man
proved to be such an interesting villain that he immigrated into american canon and the manga was reprinted very recently (again) because of that connection.

And i just wanted to give a hint. Jup the perfectly fine Batman (KUWATA Jirou) i put up is the winner but Batman: Death Mask 8/10 is the one i would recommend first.
