Alright, I read lots of stuff, and I'm going to let people in on a secret, Bittorrents my take awhile, but not usually for popular stuff like Naruto/Bleach. Get yourself a bittorrent cilent, there a many available. Go to the site, http://www.tokyotosho.com, completely free, you can get all your favorite anime/mana/raws/music/hentai/whatever trips your trigger for free. I've been using it for over a year now and when a group posts it's release it's available to get when they get it on the tracker(usually right away) Don't pay for things you don't have to.

Basically everyone in this thread already knows that. The thing is, does everyone else NOT in this thread know that? Also, I understand the argument that BT is slow a lot of the time. Just because there are a lot of seeders doesn't mean YOUR individual download is fast. You have to understand how the system of BT works. Then there are individual problems like ports and whatnot. But will most people bother to do that? Nope, they'll just see that initially, BT is slow, and then they'll go use other methods, including paying for a faster download site

regarding wat you said I have no clue wat that means, got to get help from my tech friends who does.
I really think a petition is gonna help. The reason I want to start a site is because let's be honest here, REAL HONEST is there a site that's free and offers wat narutofan offers?
The simple answer is no, and 5 dollars it may look a lot when a lot of people pays it, but really if you look, my lunch caused me 5 bucks (Macdonalds) so it's not a big deal to most.
So, if you get my point, you can basically discard the adding things to fansubs and stuff idea.

How about a poll? As we can see, there's a lot of different opinions. A poll would give us some more information (who supports, who doesn't really care, who want's tazmo to stop etc.).
If I want my post be noticed, I should probably get someone pissed or something like that...but it's the middle of the night in my country and I'm tired.
It's just...we're not moving forward with this discussion. Sad.

Are you serious? I *REALLY* doubt Narutofan uses DOS (I assume you mean DDOS though, as in with a botnet) attacks against sites, otherwise you can report him to the FBI (Withought getting manga companies involved).
If he infact does do that though, can you tell me where I can contact an admin he has DDOS'd? I have a few rbot keys he might be interested in.

There IS a Kane who is the admin at StopTazmo, but he wouldn't attack other sites... there was a rumour like this in StopTazmo a while ago. Let me go find that thread.

It'll be hard to stop tazmo because narutofan is so dominant in Google. The only reason I want to stop him is because he's not doing the actual work of scanlating and subbing everything himself.
I suppose someone could post in the forums at narutofan.com and mention all the different sources where you can get stuff for free and how tazmo is being a ripoff. The only thing we need now is a free place to refer to for direct downloads of everything else. Because to be honest, I personally find irc to be mind-boggling at times and bt to be a bit slow. And I know that I'm not the most tech-savvy person around or the stupidest. and i think that his monthly fee is a ripoff.
