Blade of the Immortal. There were many that I liked, among them Air Gear, Tenjou Tenge (of course), D. Gray-Man, Hellsing, and Shin Angyo Onshi, but Blade was stunning from beginning to end. The level of detail is simply amazing, but I believe another series by a different(?) author, CAT, seemed to have replicated the style very closely, to the point that it's almost the same.

The best shoujo art I've ever seen goes to Shurei Kouyu, mangaka of Alichino. Unfortunately, she broke her hand/wrist and hasn't drawn any manga since. Also, the storyline sucks ass. But the art is just so pretty that I own all three volumes anyway. ^^;;

I do like Hino Matsuri, mangaka of MeruPuri and Vampire Knight, as well, but her storylines aren't very interesting either.

As for seinen, I like Inoue Takehiko of the Vagabond fame. The art is so realistic, with backgrounds in every panel, and faces that you can easily tell who's who. I have yet to read Berserk! and Blade of the Immortal, but those manga are also famed for having good art.

For manwha artists, Yoon Mi-kyung draws fantastic... well, everything. Her art actually makes me interested in what happens to the main characters - what new, exotic places will she draw? What kind of funky outfits will the characters wear? I need to know!

Hmm, can't think of any others off the top of my head, but those are my main favorites.

as far as beautiful art goes, have to say alichino, tought the art is so great that it ends up taking your atention from the story, i know it happened with me, ended up reading just for the art, but can't remember even what the series was about, the art is that good laugh

first of all id have to say

INOUE Takehiko
his art is just amazing and it has gotten better slam dunk is great but vagabond has given him the chance to expand and its just amazing what he has done all that detail in a single panel is amazing.

YAMAMOTO Hideo
ichi the killer and homunculus have a great style and originality to them I especially love the art in homunculus

Hiroaki Samura
blade of the immortal emerald this guys sketchy action is amazing its just too good love it.

OTOMO Katsuhiro
AKIRA is just something else and its always amazing domu was great as well he adds alot of little details and small things that seem incredible and add to the overall feel. look for pages with alot going on dirt buildings coming down and youll see what I mean.

Tsutomu Nihei
most of his characters look alike but its a great style, dirty clean and sketchy cant explain it. you can see he was going to be an architect with his amazing bg's

i like Mashima Hiro's, Park Sung Woo's, Mukai Natsumi's, Ji-Hyoung Song's, Hyun You's, and Kara's art work. i think they're all similar in some way, but i like them :]. i like a bunch of the ones listed too, like the bride of the water god, vampire knight, xxxholic mangaka, etc, but those are the one's i haven't seen posted yet either because i skimmed over them or i didn't care to look far enough to see these names. i actually judge a lot of what i read/like by the artwork, so i honestly like the artists in my whole reading and completed list, but i think these (along with several others i didn't mention [out of laziness {variante, B.reaction, d.n.angel, power, kekkaishi, perfect girl evolution}].... >.>) have great art.

Loveless' art style is really pretty too.

Hm.. I think this is a realllyyy difficult question to answer O.o

But as many other I was intrigued by Matsuri Hino's style in Vampire Knight

And I think Oh! Great is an awesome artist. (Air Gear for example)

But then again these two styles are very... "flashy" and I also like simpler styles as the one of Tsukuba Sakura or Sahara Mizu (also known as Yumeka Sumomo )

It all depends on my mood in the end X'D

Vampire Knight, IMO. I'm not a fan of the series, but the art is really good.
