I like reading them in general, but Japanese manga are still the best.
I don't have a preference/like them both.
I read some, but didn't think they were good.

They shouldn't be called Manga! Only the Japanese ones are the true ones.

I would like to know what peoples opinion on scanlation groups that take on too many projects are.
A) one group shouldn't hog all projects
B) many projects at once brings more variety to all
C) a group should finish one or two projects before going to the next
D) as long as the scanlator isn't overwhelmed why not multi-task?
E) as long as it doesn't slow the release of all projects

not quite so literally as to say, "this series is episodic so I'll read it," it's more of what type is more enjoyable to read

I like the masterful guy with the spunky but troubled guy... Or the stoic guy with the shy girl. But it's best if everyone has superpowers. Give a character superpowers and I'm happy. Poll there.
What superpower do you like best. (I like when the superpower actually makes life really hard for the possessor of it ...) They could be better than this.

Also, to answer all the polls, "Death Note" is my favorite of the big four. I never eat in the dark because I might get a spider or other bug, but I eat watching anime in daylight. I try to remember Japanese titles, but it's hard. My stock of words is slowly growing. Very slowly. I'm not part of the scanlating community, but I adore them and would like to donate or something. I've never met another living being who reads manga, so can't say what I would do it that happened. I prefer the completed series, so I can read the end first and make sure no one dies. Fansubs are always better because they are made with love and devotion. Spoilers are my life. Puns are hard to translate, but they should try. I have read manga for two years, but the count of hours would be frightening. I just like to vote in polls. I don't like manga plots that go on to infinity, there should be a 'happily ever after' moment, or at least an 'everyone is dead now' moment. Whew!... Oh, and when scanlators drop my favorite manga I wait and brood and wait...
