That's great there is no real government and politics when deciding who to nominate to become the Hokage. Fuedal lords are pretty easy to convince but then again the village is destroyed and they need reconstruction so of course they'd pick a strong willed man like Danzou who has just pointed out faults of the previous Hoakges. But that was too easy. I'd hoped they'd nominate Naruto for just saving the damn village.

you know what cracks me up though, those faults you mentioned kumagoro, Danzo's had a hand in almost all of those. Orochimaru went insane after his parents died cause of the war, but now even that's questionable. everything so far seemed like seeds planted for that very moment. very few people know the truth about Danzo, so it's not like anyone can make some solid arguments against him. so far until Tsunade wakes up it's pretty much a done deal, for now at least.

I was sort of pissed that no one even nominated Naruto for Hokage, if it weren't for him half of the village population would be dead... But then again he was the main cause for Pain to go to Konoha in the first place (even though he'd go eventually after obtaining the tailed beasts).

It's kind of hard to believe that Pain was only a pawn in Madara's schemes... I can understand that Pain was acting on his own ideas, and Madara only took advantage of that, but Pain still just felt like a pawn.

I think Pain was probably stronger than Madara since Jiraya said the Rinnegan is the origin of ninja techniques. Probably goes like this Pain > Jiraya > Itachi. That would mean that Naruto is stronger than Sasuke right now... but the new eye techs that Sasuke got for defeating Itachi might fill in the power level gap.

One last thing... Does anyone really think Kisame will be a match for Kirabee? I mean REALLY? C'mon, no matter how much chakra he's got Kirabee is just too awesome to be beaten by Kisame.

i guess i didnt see danzo becoming 6th hokage although i still hold that he is tobi.

Just because someone is more powerful than another doesn't mean that person will win the fight. There are many other factors that can decide a fight.

Same goes with Kisame and the 8 tails. We don't really know how powerful Kisame is anyway, but the fact that Madara trusts him enough to show him his face means Kisame is not anyone simple. Then again... all the Akatsuki members were something.

Naruto already knows about Danzo and his bad deeds from Pain's story so he should pick up the what him being a hokage is bad, so im sure some shit will happen and it should resolve fast. i dont want him leading to last any longer then it should.

it's not really that easy. Naruto knows of his involvement, but you have to take into account this was all done under Sarutobi's rule as Hokage. even if we know Danzo is a culprit behind a vast majority of issues only a select few know of his involvement in all of them. the one Nagato told Naruto is only one instance. so Naruto has only that and suspicion from Root's handling to hold against Danzo. other than that he's really got nothing to throw against the man. the case against Danzo is small if anything unless more people share information about his misdeeds. for instance whenever Sasuke gets back he makes it known about Danzo's hand in the Uchiha massacre then it's possible to help bring him down. but Sasuke is the type of guy who would rather get revenge the old fashion way than really bring someone like Danzo down.

i really doubt that madara is danzo there is no way madara can teleport around from wherever akatsuki base is to konoha. and the urgent matter that madara is attending to is the kage meeting that killerbees brother mentioned dont forget that kisame called madara mizukage so he already is a kage and therefore will be attending the meeting has nothing to do with danzo becoming hokage.

Just when i thought that reviving the fallen konohans was just right, (because no one will appreciate naruto if everybody is dead) i just found another annoying part and that is... anyone could be hokage. In the vote... why kakashi? For me, he seems like useless in his air time in terms of strength. Why not consider others? How about shikamaru ? and no one even considered what naruto did after those chapters of fighting pain and flashbacks... oh well, hope everything turns ok in the end.

Also, i'm interested in who'll be that "pawn to sinc with gedo mazo" (lol that's quite a name).

as i see it, danzo/madara will be what brings naruto and sasuke together again. Its obvious the story is going to end and this seems the best way to end the story. sasuke is the ultimate betrayer, he will betray everyone but naruto, that being said he will betray madara and exact vengeance for his part in the massacre of his clan. naruto will become a tool danzo desires for war. this fact will put naruto at odds with the ANBU. ultimately to save the village naruto will have to defeat danzo, and to avenge his clan sasuke must defeat madara. Low and behold they are one in the same, madara is danzo! an enemy too powerful for either, but manageable for both.

Im not saying sasuke won't attack the village, but it will just be so we can get a prefight between he and naruto.

If you think about it, why was naruto put in to a team with sasuke... it was the thirds desire to create to bonds necessary to accomplish what minato told naruto he needed to accomplish. Those certain conditions. Its clear itachi helped him with that as well, but there needs to be more... and that is a unified front.
