Dragon Age: Origins for me too.
It's kind of overhyped though.
It's great for an rpg, but the story (main selling point) is pretty cliche. It borrows a bit of everything from Lord of the Ring to A Song of Ice and Fire... and tries to put it all together.
End result is one hell of a clusterfuck of ripped off ideas.
The thing that bothers me most though is the small dungeon-like maps. Loading .... loading.... loading....
They should've used a better engine so they could've made big environments which in turn would’ve helped us get the feeling that it was a living breathing world. But that's Bioware tech for you... no improvement since Kotor (which totally rocked) and counting...
Mass Effect was essentially Kotor in a 'unique' Bioware universe, with force powers that were re-labeled "biotics".
Ugh... I didn't mean for this to turn into a rant, but everything Bioware makes is seriously overhyped.
Edit: Actually I think some of Mass Effect's environments were a bit bigger (namely the empty planets you could drive on), since it was made with Unreal 3 tech (judging by the god-awful vehicle physics lol).
But I still think all Bioware games after Kotor deserve much less credit than people give them...
