Yesterday, I just watched http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Swan_Princess so I'm looking for something similar to this!

But not the fact that she was under a spell. I'm looking for a manga in which the characters didn't like each other as kids, but ended up falling for eachother as adults biggrin It could be because of their new appearances or something they've done, etc. The closer to the scenario in the movie, the better!

I prefer fantasy or historical settings, but modern is fine too. It can be a modern setting as long as atleast one of them isn't in high school (I think this is what separates this topic from other 'childhood friend' topics).

Anything is fine as long as it's not hentai, shoujo-ai or yuri.

Thank you biggrin

Ahh everything I can think of has high school in it! Hahaha. Umm;
Anata ni Hana o Sasagemashou (sort of?)
Kiss & Never Cry (again, sort of, and this is kind of dark too...)

You could try this thread, (it's childhood friends and fantasy without hentai/shoujo-ai/yuri school life attached), and sift through until you find something?
http://www.mangaupdates.com/series.html?perpage=50&ge nre=Fantasy&exclude_genre=Hentai_School%20Life_Shouj o%20Ai_Yuri&category=Childhood%2Bfriends&order by=rating

Sorry I couldn't be more help!

Cutie Boy

The guy liked the girl when they were kids, but the girl didn't. It's kind of weird, but I guess it sort of fits the bill.

Moon Boy seems to be going in that direction.

Hot Gimmick - definitely fits. The guy was a jackass to her during their childhood. But again, in high school (it's hard to find a modern shojo not set in high school...)
Tokyo Crazy Paradise - kinda of fits. He was always mean to her when they were kids. They're both in high school but the story hardly ever goes there (its mostly adventure). Funny manga nonetheless.
