I am pretty sure this was either one shot or side story to another manga, but it was a great story. So I'll list basically ideas from what I can remember and hopefully someone knows what I am talking about!
-Younger girl (highschool maybe) meets an older man
- Older man has a garden he tends to (roses)
- I (think) the young girl is the reincarnation of the man's love(r) who passed away
- Sometime in the future the young girl is now an adult and meets a young man who is the reincarnation of the old man.
