First, I appologie for my bad english. I hope you don't mind as long as you got the point.
So, I'm looking for a manga with a plot. I don't care what genre it is, but I kinda don't like easy story lines. I' d like to read a manga that makes you think.
To put it shortly, I want
-good, (mature) plot
-not those never ending stories with 200 volumes
-beautiful art work
-charismatic caracthers
To make it more easy, I absolutely hate inuyasha, hunterxhunters dragon ball etc. shojo-candy-stories, hunterxhunter, porn without plot.
I didn't like Naruto (even after trying to read it, I only managed to read 10 first volume, and all that because my friends forced me to) I didn't like blade (it was just too ugly) nor did I succes to read vagabond ,bleach, nana..
I did however like the beginning of the death note (surprise), Ganz, elfen lienb and Saikano. (it makes me cry every time I read it!)
I don't know if it's possible to find a story with all tose standarts but I already thank you all who try! 😃

Deadman Wonderland
and
Black and White
are the only things that come to mind.
there are others, but they aren't too far into the story yet.

D.Gray-man <-- the art is gorgeous, 15 volumes up to date, on-going.
Alichino <-- art is great
The Bride of the Water God <-- the story seems original and the art is beautiful. It's a manhwa, still on-going, I think.
The Embalmer <-- Great art and the stories really make you think/feel for the characters.
It would be easier for us to suggest you manga if you had your lists publicized, you know 😁
Current avatar features Badou from Dogs.
Kiseijuu
Historie
Kimi no Kakera (same author as Saikano)
20th Century boys

Homunculus has a really great plot.. The artwork isn't all that though.
Does the walker choose the path, or the path the walker?

I wonder if you mind BL~
If you could let me know what's your stand on yaoi, It'd be easier to suggest^^
So...
Berserk If you haven't read it, you really sould... must, even..
Team Medical Dragon is nice..
Every manga by sahara mizu
Shiiku Gakari Rika - maybe?. yaoi...
Switch kind of confusing at times though~
Angel Sanctuary
I can go on...
But I'm not even sure what to put here~
Edit: I second Layhe 's suggestions. 😃
Hrodulf and Bjornolfr, you will not be forgotten.

If I had a fantasy self, it'd be a tentacle monster.

Fullmetal Alchemist

Maybe X.
Try this topic. It's got what you want in a plot, well, most of them do at least, though the artwork requirement isn't there.
Also, despite their appearances in the other topic, I strongly second 20th Century Boys, Monster, and Fullmetal Alchemist.
