It's not limited to just women. There have been males in manga who are tsundere and yandere (Though they seem to come up way less frequently).

One of my bestfriends was a tsundere. She was really cold to me at first, and told me I was annoying, but I kept trying to get to know her, and she was genuinely one of the nicest person ever! *o*; It felt like I just got some rare gem in my hands! XD The feeling of discovering the dere-ness was really nice! So yeah, I'd choose Tsundere.

I know a real life yandere and man, I'm glad I didn't talk to her that much. She was really really nice to me at first, but then she got a boyfriend, and now she calls him like more than 5 times a day and she has a copy of his house keys and just barges into his house. She hates all females (and even males) who talk to her boyfriend. He has been isolated, and totally hers. o_o;

But in the 2d world, I like tsundere and yanderes equally.

I knew one like this too! I felt so bad for my guy friend because the girl was suffocating her, but no matter what she did, he never broke up with her. I mean, they aren't together anymore, but still. Those were a couple of years of being suffocated (at least from the friends' POVs)

Tsunderes annoy me sometimes, so I'd go with yandere on this one (in the 2D world).

I would go with Yandere. I'd want him to be crazy for me; not "I will break your limbs so you can't ever leave me" kind of crazy, but "I won't let anyone take you away even if I have to kill someone" kind of crazy, you know, the good kind of crazy.

I'm a girl and sorta tsundere.
I hate overexagerated tsundere like Naru from Love Hina, that just make me want to punch them, but tsundere like Misaki from Kaichou wa Maid-sama are okay and pretty cute.
As for yandere, well... I don't know them that much but as others have already stated, they are dangerous. Plus, trying to hurt people who approach their loved one is just egoistic and prove they just have a huge lack of trust in themselve and pple they like. Anyway, yandere in manga seem to be often more interesting than trundere.

So, I'l pick neither of them, both have their pros and cons.

Oh, and I like tsundere/yandere couples, such Nezumi x Shion from No. 6

Recently I found myself being more drawn to yandere, mainly because tsundere are kinda boring and can come off as annoying since they're so indecisive about their feelings. Whereas, such characters as Sanka Rea, Ryuuguu Rena, Gasai Yuno, etc. always do the craziest things, but hey, it's interesting! And cute in a crazy kinda way... (;^_^A

I loved yandere Kaito in the song Uninstall too btw

...But that only counts for 2D stuff. Stalking and attacking people in real life is not my thing...

I like tsundere men, but female tsunderes are just terrible. It's like they're on their period 24/7. I can't stand it.

For yandere though, I like it for both sexes. So, I guess I choose yandere, between the two.

...this only applies to 2D, of course.
