I've read most Hwang Mi ri, Han Yu Rang, I've read Red Lion, Basara, the other strong manga I forgot.. I like mangas like Fly High so with shoujo... i don't really like shounen.

Cuz typically a fighting series would be a shounen series. a magical girl series with a heavy combat aspect like Nanoha would be considered Shounen

Yeah theres also harem-shounen with ...stuff you wouldn't like, or other forms of shounen. But just because the BULK of shounen hits these things, doesn't mean you discard the genre is what you want, but you want them to treat women better.

Just an idea, but how about 1/2 Prince? Admittedly, the female protagonist plays a male character when she's doing most of her butt-kicking, but she is a girl, and she's definitely physically strong, and she doesn't like to hide behind anybody. 😀
