Now that a perfect example of terrible comedy(if we can even call it that). That show doesn't even have the slightest bit a reason for anything it does and is in extremely poor taste. The people who enjoy that show must not be completely sober when they watch it.

It's a show that's really written for a subculture, if you're not a part of it, you don't enjoy it.

But perhaps I should give my beer goggles a whirl the next time I have to endure an episode of Community.

Okay, snark aside. I'm not a fan of this show simply because I don't "get" the humour. Even if I can see what it's aiming for - or is that presumptuous of me? - it's just not to my tastes.

My favourite comedy on tv at the moment: QI.

Comedy and education at the same time. One of the best kind of entertainment :'D

See, many of us here (and I'm speaking about myself, Scy, Kaerf, and a couple others) are actually huge QI fans. It's a brilliant show, and Fry does an excellent job. So ironically there might be a crossover point for those fanbases.

If you don't get a type of humor, though, you don't get a type of humor. No idea why though- Community's 90% snark and satire.

Oh, poor you. Though beer is certainly better than using other things I don't suggest you use alcohol just to find a show entertaining. Thinking that way is actually quite sad.
On a completely different note I do agree that QI is a great show.

^ Oh, I do happen to possess a few brain cells and can clearly distinguish between what should and should not be done. No need for the sympathies.

Sorry for continuing my off-topicness, but I’ve always felt a little stumped whenever I hear this quote regarding QI: “Imagine Jeopardy with Stephen Colbert as host, with Steve Martin and Ellen DeGeneres as guests…” Meh, maybe it’s just me.

That is more than a little baffling. I could see Colbert as a guest, maybe. John Hodgman was on that one time, and he has a segment on The Daily Show), though they did only give him a kazoo as a buzzer. As a host, on the other hand, Colbert's nothing compared to Fry, and those two as guests seems totally nonsensical.

I would like to share that my most favorite TV shows are: True Blood and Criminal Minds. I have seen all episodes and seasons of this show, I can't miss a single one of them.

And what does that have anything to do with Community?
