I have read the manga up to halfway through The Witch's Maw arc...and I feel it's missing some aspects (such as music) that make it "cool," since the series relies heavily on battle scenes, which I personally prefer to see animated. I'll probably go back and keep reading from where I left off since the anime isn't following the manga to the panel anymore though...

as long as he remains human, he can only hope to be like the guards during the monastery battles. if he is turned into a male claymore during the time apart then he could be quite badass. then it turns into a question of loyalty now. very short time with claire, or 7 years with Priscilla.

you know i think that even if raki turns into a claymore, he's still going to be loyal to clare... i just think that he feels that there's an obilgation towards isley that's why he's staying with priscilla.

I really do think that Raki will be a better fighter in the future episodes. I mean, he spent 7 years with ISLEY. He'd be either hopeless or incredibly klutzy if he doesn't at least learn to do a cool offense or two. However, I also think that it would be too hardpressed and fantastic for him to be able to kill an awakened.

But I do wonder...what if he becomes a claymore? I mean, it's really not that hard to make a claymore--just imbue a piece o' yoma fleshie under your skin and poof!--you've a got a brand new claymore! It really doesn't surprise me of he becomes one, you know. Personally, I think Raki's too Clare-crazy; give him an opportunity to be strong enough for her and he'll do it. What if during those 7 years, he was offered a chance to become a claymore by Isley? And Isley's really smart--I don't think he just took Raki under his hood for Priscilla's sake. I think he has something else under his hand...

And have you ever wondered...what happens when, instead of using normal Yoma flesh to turn a human into a claymore, they use an AWAKENed one's flesh? The issue really has never surfaced in the manga. But...what if? And what if that's what Isley's real intention for Raki is? And what if he succeeds? Then....Raki would be, no doubt, SUPER badass. Not too mention it would become very complicated for the Raki-Clare situation.

Yeah, I know. I've speculate too much. Omy. I could write a fanfic! Hahaha!

Anyways, that's just how I think. Am I going bollocks? Or am I just rambling out of my mind again? Hahaha.

Raki is always pain in the ass for Clare . But Raki is the only companion of Clare in her travels before they were seperated.

Like Lazurite said it might be Raki will adopt the awakening flesh and blood of Isley that will make him badass. Another experiment for the Organization.

Well I`m eagerly anticipating Raki`s return to the manga.
I`m sure that he will be much more stronger than before.Thats a given training under Isley.Still I dont think that he will train 7 years under him.
In such a long time there is a high probability that he discovers that Pricilla and Isley are awakened beings.(I dont think that he discovers it in the manga)
The question is what is he going to do if he finds out.
Well it would be on hell of a twist if he chose to stay and turned evil.(maybe after Isley turned him in a awakened being after which he started thinking like a yoma ).Then we wolud have a emotional Raki-Clare showdown.Still i hope that he will be on Clare`s side when he appears.
Regarding how he will gain strength its either he trains like crazy and developes some kind of anti-yoma swordmanship or seeking power he will stop being human and turns into a claymore/awakened being.Or maybe the author will surprise us with something different.Well I cant wait for the next chapters.

well Raki will be grown up after 7 years and chances are that after 7 years of seeing Isley and Pricilla not age a day he'd figure out that that they're not human, my guess is that Isley says that they're claymores that got kicked out of the organization. The thing is Raki is going to view Pricilla as a little sister so there's no way he'll let Clare try to kill her.

I highly doubt that Raki will become a claymore because the process of becoming a claymore is increadibly painful and I don't think Pricilla would let Isley do that to Raki. but then again Pricilla likes Raki because he "smells like the south" and smells eventually wear off.

also I just thought that Pricilla is probably a lot like Miata as far as mental stability goes in so the relationship between Pricilla and Raki will probably be a lot like the one between Miata and Clarice only that Raki won't be afraid of Pricilla because he would never see her in battle.

him training is a yes, but thinking he will surpass any awakening being could be no, could be yes. But all I have to say is that its up the the creator to decide that. But if you think it is leading there you can just hope he becomes stronger. But I think he will because the Anime focuses on Clare and Raki more. 7 years of training is a long time, he might become stronger than an awakening if isley transforms and fight him * I doubt that would happen because isley would likely keep his identity hidden from Raki ". Then either way Raki will discover that priscilla is a awakening because Deneve and Raki is heading towards the fight. So Raki finding out isley is not a human is soon likely to come sooner than we expected.

Is it known that Raki has been with Isley for the last seven years. It would make sense that during that time, if it didn't know Clare was supposedly dead, wouldn't he have gone looking for her? I too, think he stayed with Isley to become stronger before he meets up with Clare, but who knows. he biggest difference will be that Raki that grown into a man, and feel that his overall growth will be disappointing, seeing how almost everyone is expecting him to be badass. Most likely, if even likely, he will do like one or a couple of badass things within some average fight, but against anything big, will just be useless, sorry to say. We'll just have to wait and see unfortunately. I just started reading the manga and caught up to chapter 73, so I was wondering what is the newest release and if it pass that where can I get it or have there not been any releases is a long time

He'll obviously be stronger, but I doubt he'll be more badass than Clare. Or will Isley turn him into half yoma too? I hope not though, I think his humanity (and averageness?) is his strong point.

It's true he would be powerful...imagine if they use abyssal's flesh... he would be unstopable!

he'll probably be really badass and he'll remain human. he can probably take down yomas after 7 years. i just have this feeling about that. i dont think he will be able to take down awakened ones. that's clare and co.'s job. story will be filled with a lot of awakened ones. it'll probably be a love rectangle. clare-raki-priscilla-clarice. i cant help but think clarice will be the first one to meet raki. clarice looks not like a claymore because of her hair. the situation being him helping clarice and mistakes her as an ordinary human. raki and priscilla pair maybe a complicated one. raki may think of her as a little sister but priscilla might want raki for herself. as to why she is attached to him maybe because raki reminds her of her brother or not. just a guess. the raki-clare reunion must and has to be something dramatic. it would be nice if raki helps clare in a tight situation but this is less likely to happen. im not saying raki will be more powerful than clare thats why she needs help, just that she is in a situation where she cant reveal herself yet or something like that.
