I'd like to go to one but most of them seem to too expensive. Train ticket & entrance fee (?) & accommodation. Germany doesn't have many cons anyway~

I'm going to head to Onicon this October in Houston. I went last year and had a great time.

I'm planning to go to Otakon, but I'm probably not gonna cosplay this year. Mostly because I always end up spending a LOT of money on the costume, since I wait 'til the last minute. And I have absolutely no idea who I'd even cosplay as.

Anime Expo...Yeah, I didn't get to dress up as Haruhi, nor did I see Aya Hirano, nor did I even get to see the SOS Brigade T.T

I'm almost ashamed to call myself a Haruhiist cry I tried to buy the uniform too late, I went on Saturday, but Aya-sama went on Friday, and the line for the SOS Brigade was suuuper long. It even went past my car in the parking lot! I would have been there for HOURS had I stayed in line. And none of the people who went with me were willing to wait that long. That sucks, but a lot other awesome stuff happened to me, so it's alright. Did anyone who went to AX see man-Haruhi? Pretty disturbing eek

Isn't anyone here going to Comic Con? confused Maybe I'll see you there smile wink grin I don't even like American Comics, I'm just there for the manga samples and such bigrazz I went last year and got a bunch of posters...they're still up on my bedroom walls...

@otakubabay

I'm going to Comic-con! (yay!)I have to go for work with a bunch of lame people.(boo!!) I hate going with them because they are professional designers (artists) and don't think much of the con experience and always look down on everyone there. Every year when we go I [accidentally] get separated from them so I can walk around by myself and enjoy the atmosphere.
Maybe we should plan to say hi to each other at some point and compare loot! I also have invites to lots of parties and stuff after the con if you are interested. (Invitation is open to everyone!)

SAME EXPERIENCE @ AX mainly due to going on Sunday...never been to AX so had no idea what the scheduling and etc wre till i got there...shoulda checked online T_T if i knew beforehand...also AX was only maybe 3/5 as big as comic con is? Kinda Weird? ANyways, Comic Con is where I'm gonna be...maybe we could start a petition for another SOS Invasion down in San Diego?

Last year when I went to Comic Con, I didn't know anything about anything since it was my first con, but this year I'm actually planning and stuff, so I'll get to see people like Johnny Young Bosch and Arina Tanemura smile Yeah, I was actually relieved that AX was smaller than Comic Con. I could actually get to the majority of the stands eyes

A petition, huh? It might be too late for that since Comic Con already has people booked and the SOS Brigade is probably also busy none It would have been awesome to see them though biggrin
