When Zetsu started absorbing everyone's chakra and giving it to Sasuke, I almost stopped reading... If he had actually defeated all the Kages I doubt would've read on.

Even so, it's really stupid for Sasuke to survive and get away like that. Why the hell should Madara go and save him, and why the hell is he just going to give away his super secret plan? This is just a very lame, lame development.

The chapter was pretty much what I expected, but I am disappointed that Karin couldn't even throw a kunai, or do something vaguely ninja-like. (I mean, hiding behind tables? What is that?!)

I completely agree with what you guys have been saying: If you're going to bother putting a character in a scene, make him/her contribute to the development of that scene; otherwise, why include that character at all? The way I see it, Sasuke could've easily found the main meeting room without Karin's help--after all, he'd seen where both the Raikage and Gaara had come from, so it wouldn't have been too difficult for him to make the connection that the Hokage was also probably in that direction. Isn't he supposed to be a genius?

If Kishimoto had planned for Sasuke to get past the Kages, then Karin might've been useful, but he didn't, so she was useless. At least the Mizukage turned out to be pretty cool, so that's something I suppose.

Yeah, that really was a WTF-no-jutsu, wasn't it? I foresee very bad, and very cheap plot developments involving this jutsu.

And this thing with Madara revealing his secret bad guy plans to the Kages ...I don't get it. Why bother? First he went out of his way to have a chat with Naruto, and now the Kages. Unless there's some compelling reason for him to be doing this, I call BS since Kishimoto is making his villain behave in illogical ways, all for the purpose of easily letting his characters discover things they'd have a hard time finding out otherwise. (i.e., Naruto learning the truth about Itachi.)
