All I can recall of this manga, possibly a one-shot, is that it featured a team of two that were going across Japan visiting shrines and the like. They are part of an agency or some such. The two get separated and the goofy one of the two randomly meets a girl somehow.
Later, at a shrine, it turns out the goofy guy is actually a demon or some such and he has limits placed upon himself. Those limits are released to fight something that appeared at the shrine.
This... may be from another manga entirely, but I think it is from the same one. The serious character of the two is sitting in what is like a dojo or a temple, talking with two spirits. One very small spirit and another larger spirit. The topic of conversation features... spirits of mountains? That is all that I can recall.
