Because most of them get it for free.
Seriously, if most people paid for manga the same way the Japanese do, a lot of highly followed manga would drop like a rock. (Course, this is also why so many mangas get axed despite being "popular" with online audiences. Its easy to shower everything with 5 stars/perfect 10s when you're not coughing up cash)

Sure pal popular manga like Naruto, One Piece and/or Bleach break sales records cause "most of them get it for free". Go read some statistics and get to know something, you might be surprised. Well ofc if your brain is capable of.

Statistics? You mean like how the publishing industry's sales in the U.S. has been suffering double digit losses or how the closure of Borders took out like 1/3rd of all brick-and-mortar manga sales?
Oh and the top selling manga of 2012 isn't Naruto, One Piece or Bleach. Its Sailor Moon, a series that ended 15 years ago.

Funny how it clearly says NORTH AMERICA'S best selling manga of 2012 not the WORLDS. Or maybe I need glasses.

Because it's the only weekly manga I can be bothered to follow, it doesn't take long, and it's a nice routine. There are better manga out there but they don't get released weekly, and I'm too old to invest in random new shounen now.

Well, considering how he seemed to be referring to the U.S., I don't find anything funny at all about his link. You do seem to need glasses.
Also, you can't really find statistics for "most getting it for free" because you can't find statistics for what doesn't exist to be polled. Like the music industry trying to put a price tag on "loss from pirating" when you can't do that. However, I would be confident enough to agree that far, far, FAR more people download manga than buy it. And in Japan, there is a thriving re-sale market, meaning people buy old manga which doesn't count to the bottom line of the publishers which also isn't available for their sales numbers.
So don't get cocky about foolish things, and don't take what imercenary said out of some sort of freaky context. It just makes it look like you are starting a fight for no reason.
As for Naruto, since the chapters have almost nothing in them, I can finish the chapter in about 2-3 minutes. So I click on those chapters whenever I go for the manga I actually read. After all, all this time.. I at least have to end it (I stopped buying the volumes around volume 20).

I didn't read everyone's posts... But... Am I the only one around here who read it because she like it? Wtf? I admit there are episodes/chapter that sucks, but seriously the ones that are super amazing are really worth it. And nothing in this world can be permanently good for everyone's tastes. It have highs and downs. I recently started thinking I was getting too old for this... I think it is bad some times or is becoming too childish, but I REALLY wanna know what will happen next and some other times it just surprise me with its awesomeness! =D
