Cipher

I'm reading it now and remembered this thread so I thought I'd add to it. It's an interesting manga, if you don't mind older works (from the 80s).

Skip Beat! 17 volumes...-_-
Yamato Nadeshiko Shichi Henge
Akuma to Love Song

Oh god, Adachi Mitsuru. Dx Slowest moving manga EVER. I dropped Cross Game because I kept mixing up the stories with H2. That's how hard it is to differentiate his manga...>.>

V.B. Rose
I just started reading this and it fits perfectly, plus it's absolutely adorable. It has everything I love in a shoujo romance - innocent, non-airhead, honest heroine, lots of sweet moments, pretty art, just love it! Ageha doesn't realize her feelings until the second volume and the male lead doesn't for several chapters later. I've read through volume 4 and neither has confessed yet. Soooo cute!!

If you liked the slow paced romance in Pastel, I suggest you read the even more slow paced one: Aa Megami-sama.
(Sorry, I don't know of anything remotely as slow paced as the ones mentioned above 🙂 )

Thank you, everyone, for keeping this thread going strong!

I'd like to add La Esperanca to this, since it's a really slow-developing romance.

Easy. It's Naruto. The manga has been running for almost 500 chapters now but neither Naruto or Sasuke confess their feelings for each other yet. 🤣 🤣 🤣
