Fruit trees take years to grow, so I don't think that's an option. But looking for fruit trees in the neighborhood is an awesome suggestion.
Well, if they're trees that actually *belong* to someone (in their yard, etc.) then it's not good to pick the fruit, though I doubt anyone would care if you picked up the fallen fruit (which can still be fine to eat, depending on the conditions).

If the trees are in someone's yard, you could always ask the people who live there if you could pick some, or even offer to pick for them & with some of the fruit as payment for your labor.

like the fruit trees at disneyland. biggrin that's what my friend did. just make sure you don't get caught...

You can go visit someone and/or ask your parents/friends/whatever for money that they can lend you until you find a job...or rob a bank. XD
But yeah, you should get a job and if your work is excellent ask for an advance. =3

Boil some water.
Add salt. Add paper.
Enjoy.

Come on man rob a bank is not that difficult, just stay away from jobs. They ruin everyone lives.

Beans and nuts are extremely nutritious and give you plenty of calories.

I'm partial to kidney beans myself.

Rice. Go to an azn market, buy 10-20kg of rice for $10-$20 and it'll feed you for half a year to a year sparingly, or a few months three meals a day

I read a article about this somewhere..

Eat Ramen.

That's bascially what it said... ^^' You know cup noodles and such...? There's also those instant powder soups that you "Just need to add hot water!" stuff you find everywhere at Asian supermarkets. You can also throw in udon noodles in those instant soups [though it tastes horrible together -.-']. Cup noodles are cheap [the most expensive I saw was $1]. Erm.. Sorry if someone already posted this.

When I first moved out on my very own I was so broke I couldn't even afford the rest of the letters so I was just p.... (sticks I.O.U for letters oor). I lived off ramen noodles! They are like 12 cents. If you really want to be fancy you can buy a bag of frozen pea's and do the ramen noodles and throw some peas in it.

SideNote: To this day I still gag when going down the noodle isle at the store. Ummm eating ramen noodles can mess with your mind after a whole year.
