Now... what do you think?
To be honest, i really loved the scene where Yuzu showed off with her test
Ishida lost his arm.. again?
The new guys seem to have a new power. From the text on the card i started to think that they are another kind of shinigami.

Is it just me, or was this chapter a wasted opportunity? I mean, the beginning and end of it were the only parts that dealt with this new mystery that Kubo introduced, and everything else was just needless filler. I mean, I'm all for Kubo and his character interactions, but this reminded me of something I typed in an earlier chapter thread...
Just replace "near the end of an arc" and the stuff talking about the Arrancar Saga and it being so late in the story with "finding out more about this new mystery" and you've basically got the summary of this chapter.

At this point when you're near the end of an arc (Or in this case the end of the Arrancar Saga), you have to have every chapter advance the plot. Not advancing the plot when it's this close to the climax is basically having useless filler, as xshadow said. This whole interaction with the normal characters would've been fine had it not taken up the entire chapter. The interaction should have been around half a chapter, or 5-6 pages, cause then that would leave the rest of the pages to actually advance the plot.
It's like if you're watching a TV show and it's getting near the climax where you find out who the killer is, but then the writers decide to throw in some episodes with the remaining characters doing nothing but talk about the murders. Yeah, it has good interaction and brings in some character development, but when it's so close to the big reveal it seems so out of place to derail the story and switch it to something else that late in the story.

Just because someone's head was chopped off doesn't mean they're dead. That's just silly.
I think that the pictures at the beginning of the chapter show how Ichigo get's his powers back. Or at least a new hollow form.

^ that's the movie's concept art. I doubt it has anything to do with this.
... Execution? Are they going to wound Ichigo's friends one by one now? And where is Chad? He should've been introduced by now. I'm wondering what happened with Kon too...

Kon was nothing more than a throwaway joke character, so Kubo probably put him on a bus. I hope that's not the case though it probably is seeing how Kubo only gave him a bit of character development so that there would be a reason why Ichigo kept him instead of just giving him back to Urahara for a new mod soul.
As for Chad, who knows? He was the least developed and the least featured of the main group, so Kubo probably put him on a bus as well.

i didn´t know about the bus thing, but i noticed this phenomenon -.- Why did he get a past if he isn´t important to the story? He just pops up somtimes and is a running gag....
The whole execution thing is in fact: some new guys, some new fights, some new powers, some new dark pasts... and a way ichigo gets his powers back/awaken new powers/ learns to fight with only his hollow powers (he should havbe kept them, shouldn´t he?) After i reread the chapter i came to the conclusion that Kubo isn´t finished with the planning for the execution arc, which is the reason why the story develops so slow.

The problem is.... Kon lives in Ichigo's room. Inoue came in the room. How come Kon hasn't showed up for her?
And what's with the test thing? So useless...
Anyway. So.... When is Rukia coming back?

Thanks for clearing that up, I want to like this arc but the vagueness of it all is a bit annoying!!

I think it is strange - with the new art style it is almost like reading a sequel drawn and written by a different author
That may work out for the best. . . lol

Is it possible...is Ichigo actually a Shinigami and a Devil? I know the next filler movie is about hell but what about that one interview that someone gave me a link to in the last chapter thread. After the current arc there's going to be something about the underworld (hell) in the manga. Yeah stuff really needs to be explained now, that guy who attacked Ishida he's now a fifth new character. I think the reason why the dude always has something happening to his arm is simply because people aim to disable him first. Which seems to happen a lot in this manga with certain bankai disabling the enemy first. Anyway you could tell that something was up with everyone particularly Yuzu, Orihime and finally Ishida as far as we saw, did Kuujo maybe approach them? At least Orihime and Ishida? Maybe not yet.
What happened to those three girls the ones that looked like the female versions of Ishida, Chad, and the cell phone guy, did they join Kon on the bus ride too? (Little guy must be having fun).
...
And don't know why but I keep getting the feeling that Ichigo's mom isn't dead, don't know why.
