It gets better with time... and it isn't wine

It started good but then it went downhill
I heard this about many manga series, so I wondered in your opinion which mangas became better as the story went on.
For me the only one that comes to mind right now is Code Breaker, I find it a lot more interesting now than from when it started. 😃

If you want to succeed
Then you don't need Good Luck
You need the ability to overcome Bad Luck
Happines and Light needs a source to exist
Hatred fuels itself and Darkness exist where there is no Light

The World Is Mine - Everybody should read (at least) the first two volumes of this manga before deciding whether or not to continue; the series is not in any way directionless, but one could be forgiven for thinking so after reading a few of the earliest chapters.
Legend of the Strongest Man, Kurosawa - The first two volumes are filled with awkward, depressing plotlines; in the third volume and beyond, the series develops a superb balance of action, comedy, and drama to complement the depressing awkwardness of the titular protagonist.

Bakuman - It's lost its steam
after Ashirogi Muto got serialized the second time. Then that episode with Hiramaru/Aoki was pretty surprising.

Super obvious example is Kateikyoushi Hitman Reborn!
60 chapters of mostly senseless crack, and then suddenly, it gets epic.

Nam Gi-han To be an Elite.
About 10 chapters in till comedy improves.
Aboot 80 chapters of slice of life to pass through till the real story comes out.
Sadly, we're only at chapter 11 and hacking away slowly.

Ciel the start seemed boring for me, i read it because of the art, but after a while it got interesting and sucked me in.
fairy tail at the start i thought "not another main-stream manga", but it got a pretty good story and nice arcs over the time. but the start was weak

Right now at the top of my head i would say:
REAL: it was top notch from the start but as the story progresses you get more and more involved with the characters.
Dorohedoro: i would say it gets more confusing and intriguing with time, this is seriously one great manga that still has a lot to offer.
Both haven't ended yet, but i don't think they'll suck later on.

One Piece, definitely. Turns from something pretty average into the best series ever and just keeps improving.
History's Strongest Disciple Kenichi gets to be a lot of fun. Absolutely hilarious.
Gintama starts out decent, becomes amazing. You can see that Sorachi's humor, and execution of it, evolves.
Noblesse: doesn't start out very special but grows and is now incredible.
Natsume Yuujinchou: starts out slow, but nice, and just gets better and better.
fairy tail
smash --the badminton manga with mute girl 🙂
fantasista
eyeshield 21
hungry heart --i loved it far more than capt tsubasa..i like hot headed chara..strts off dull then bang
best shonen manga couples :
shinichi X ran
natsu X erza
ippo X kumi
naruto X gaara

epically bad I'd say.
