I don't believe in instant and eternal romantic love-love.
I think two people actually have to know each other and have some level of respect before really being in love.
So a girl who does a desperate things to hook up with a guy she doesn't really know...
That only works out in shoujo
(any other girl acting like that is likely an idiot)

Depends...
If I was in a relationship with someone & stuff happened (job loss/transfer, illness, etc.) that I/we had to "jump through hoops" to get through & stay together, then yeah I would. (That's more josei than shoujo, I guess.)
If you're talking about putting up with a bunch of stuff from some guy I hardly know but have a serious crush on, then NO, I would NOT - because that's not *love* it's just a crush.

Jump through hoops for love?
Gee, that's some cheap love if you ask me.
But nahhh.....I can barely lift my ass for things I need. I'm that lazy.

Nop, I'm just not that kind of person.

I'm pretty fat, so jumping would be troublesome.
