It works just fine for me in IE 9, both with and without Compatibility View.

This is a bit late, but it's working for me now. ;P

Strange, I just reinstalled IE9 but still have the same problem. The exact version is 9.0.8112.16421.
Any ideas why I can't see the colors?

Unless you're stripping CSS tables from pages, it should be displaying properly.

Had some time today and played a bit with CSS and IE9.
I checked the notation "background-color:#DeepSkyBlue" on w3c.org and it looks like this isn't valid CSS. If you remove the # it works fine but for w3c it's only valid if you use an hex value.
But it's still strange that only I have that problem.

Try going into your release filter settings, and changing the highlight color to something else, and then back to blue. I'm getting the feeling that the site used to use the color names, and has since switched to hex codes, since I can't seem to get my highlights to use the names. Let me know if this doesn't fix it.
