First anime: Sailor Moon/ Pokemon/DB. Though the first anime I watched and really understood was Naruto.

lol yeah. Naruto (and Tokyo Mew Mew) were the first i actually knew were anime...back when i was naive ><

I first watched Sailor Moon and Pokemon, but i didn't like DB 'cause it didn't have any appeal [i was 7 >.>]

First anime I watched was either zoids digimon or pokemon; I think...
I don't remember what my first manga was although I do remember that Suzuka was the first manga I completed.

My first anime was Cardcaptor Sakura (called "Cardcaptors" in the English dub), closely followed by Pokemon, Digimon, and Sailor Moon. Then, a few years later, I read my first manga: again, Cardcaptor Sakura. I think it was volume 7 (Cardcaptor Sakura: Master of the Clow, volume 1 in the English version).

The Fullmetal Alchemist anime will always have a special place, too, because it kind of brought me back to anime after I hadn't watched anything new in a while...

First anime: Dragonball, when I was 7 or 8, don't remember...

First manga: Berserk, you can say i grew up with Berserk, since I'm reading it from 2000, 5th grade primary school lol

Since i was living in mexico at the time when i was like 5 or so it was captain tsubasa that was a smash hit here. the first manga i read was Maison Ikkoku in a monthly magazine my brother bought ahh good times

First anime was Salior moon. only cause my sis liked it. First i liked was digimon i think (only the first series though)

First manga i believe was jing king of bandits

well i saw anime way before i began reading manga...which i guess is kinda weird now that i think about it since manga generally comes first...but whatever

Anime: my 1st anime was inuyasha, i saw it on adult swim and was instantly addicted

Manga: my 1st manga was xxxholic i had already seen the first season in anime and i decided that the story was really really good and wanted more (not knowing a second season was in store) so i looked up the manga and the rest is history! lol

But first anime with Japanese Dub was Get Backers and it was that what got me interested.

I think first anime really depends on your birth date. for people of one age first anime is pretty similar - it's series which aired on TV that time. my memory is always playing me tricks, so still not sure about mine. it was Sailor Moon or Grendizer. in my childhood it was kick-ass series, but now it's completely unwatchable. tried once, it was tough

first manga was Naruto. everybody was so interested about this stuff, so I decided to read manga just to find out what it is and got stuck. furthermore have some warm feelings to it, because it was the first one. still reading
