Yea, so I realize that the topic is pretty broad; sorry about that >.<

I'm looking for something with sports. The main character can be either male or female, but he/she is aiming to be the best at something [just like all sports animes/mangas, yea, I know].
Or it can be something with adventure - a long journey, etc. But not too long, unless it's really good, because I'm already hooked onto One Piece, even after it's been going on for a while; I'm stuck now reading the manga instead of watching the anime eps. xD
Anime/drama recs are helpful too ^^;
Here's what I've watched/read:

-Eyeshield 21
-One Piece
-Prince of Tennis
-Crimson Hero
-Angel Cup
-Ginban Kaleidoscope
-Hungry Heart Wild Striker
-Girl Fight
-Cross Over
-Ace wo Nerae
-Attack no. 1
-Badminton Girl
-Girl Got Game
-Smash 1
-Akatsuki

On a side note, I'm also looking for some shoujo mangas about girls in specialized fields, whether it's acting, modeling, etc.

Examples:

-Beauty Pop
-The One
-Honey Hunt
-Charming Junkie
-Forbidden Dance
-Chiro Star Project
-Skip Beat!

I guess I'll update these lists as I go along...
I just need something new to read, so if you have any recommendations at all, feel free to list them.
Thanks ^^;

You should try Buzzer Beater but I would suggest watching the anime. The plot is a bit different in anime, but it only makes it longer and I think better. Not that the manga is bad either.

Well I don't know if this counts as sports manga but Initial D. It tells about a guy who is trying to become the best street racer in Japan. Very addictive and very good obviously. I wasn't even interested in cars before I started reading it. Now I just want to go and buy a car drift like a crazy, though I would probably only end up killing myself in the process 😛

And if you like comedy you should try Yakitate! Japan. It's quite good and hilarious. Tells about a boy who is trying.. well just watch the link. I know it seems like it can't be good, but I promise that you won't disappointed if you like comedy.
