ok so this is a manhua, and in the description they use chinese names aswell.
But in the (official) english translation, they have korean names, and none of the names used in the description are used. Can someone explain?

I'm not completely sure in that specific situation, but perhaps the korean version of that manhua is what was translated into english. In japanese translations of korean webcomics/webtoons they sometimes change the names and locations to japanese and maybe they do that for korean/chinese comics as well.

I'm quite certain this is a manhwa. I'm guessing whoever added the series in mangaupdates didn't realize it was a manhwa and used the info from the official Chinese translation's page instead of the original Korean source. I've updated the page so it has the proper info.
