well, all women has her "cycle"
In cats or dogs, the female's 'cycle' correspond with her being in 'heat'. and all the male in the vicinity goes all crazy. male cats have acute sense in determining if the female is in 'heat' or not.

so, does same work for human? we know for a fact that women acts differently in different phases of her 'cycle.' is this 'heat'? can most women tell if they're in 'heat'?
i want to ask women in this forum if they have a sudden short period of 'heat' cycles.

how about men, can they tell women in heat and then goes in heat as well?
or are you in heat 24/7/265 times a day? (god that must be a pain)
have you come to notice your partner's 'heat'?

ps. it's hard writing this and make it all scientific.... biggrin

This says females have more sexual thoughts and are more active sexually right before estrus, which increases the chance of fertilization.

As for the guys part... there's also a study that states a female's voice rises right before ovulation.

But there's also copulance.

By the way... could have asked in random questions.

thx for the info, but i already knew biggrin
i was asking for personal view and experience.

sometimes i feel the sudden rise of infatuation and unreasonableness, but i haven't really thought of it as relation to my 'cycle' (but i haven't had it during my time of the month, so maybe that IS me ovulating....?) confused

Don't analysize yourself to hard but instead try to recall how you felt before your menstruation after it is over.
If you focus on a feeling too much, you influence your whole body and invalidade your "experiment".

For the record, my body does crave different things during different times of the month. Before and shortly after I ovulate (damn, scientific but still sounds idiotic) I do feel the need for companionship stronger than before and after that timespan.
Taking the pill or other hormone preparates changes this natural behaviour. I realized that I am much more affected by the surrounding atmosphere (light, sound, warmth, cozyness in general etc.) than my own body since I take the pill.

Men can and want to reproduce most of time. Which is a good thing! Imagine not only women but men too having only a a few days during which they are fertile. Reproducting would be very difficult, since both timespans of fertility would have to overlap.
The men I talked to don't "want to" all the time, though. Wich makes a lot of sense as well. They told me they react to certain body traits they consider attractive. Which is a way to select a mating partner of your preference. But they are not as affected by their hormones as women seem to be.

OoooOOoooh... good topic! Sometimes I wished that I had a male harem, and sometimes I don't... Too bad my menses is not regular so it would be difficult for me to keep tabs on my cycle... but I'd like to think I long for a man right before/when I'm ovulating. smile wink grin
