Here's a little challenge. I want a manga with good looking female lead (as in appealing to the reader). Obviously the art has to be good. So where's the challenge? No skimpy outfits (super revealing clothes\armors) and such and as little fanservice as possible.

Romance and fantasy setting is most welcome.

Please NO: shoujo ai, shounen ai, smut, hentai

I think some stuff by Mori Kaoru fits this request well (though she seems to pay even more attention to making the clothing attractive).

Umm.... maybe you could try Emma and Otoyomegatari... though otoyomegatari does have some scenes of nudity... they are pretty much non sexual or rather they are just aesthetically pleasing...

You should try Both of them... and if you really really really dislike nudity.. just go for Emma...

Well, I gave Mori Kaoru as an example, so I'm familiar with both of the manga you mentioned (I had them in mind when making this request). I don't mind nudity if it's handled the way it's done in Otoyomegatari. What I wanted in my request was: an attractive female lead who is fully clothed for a change, doesn't lose it all the time and is very little involved in fanservice (or not at all).

I think female lead from Kiba no Tabishounin - The Arms Peddler fits very well. She is quite hot and she doesn't have to run around half naked to prove it (nor she does so).

An anti-example could be Freezing. Aside from crappy story, we might have attractive female characters (who for some reason look very alike), but they tend to wear skimpy clothes, provide lots of 'service' and if that clothing wasn't revealing enough, they rip one another garment often enough.

Nousatsu Junkie the art can get a bit sketchy, but its still brillent, and one of my favourits ever! =)

Paradise Kiss has a beautiful set of characters definetely.

Superior I think the heroine is beautiful, and it has a fantasy setting with nice romance-has a sequel too.

Clover (Clamp) I think the charcters in this were absolutely beautiful. Just look at Ora, and you will be speechless. The plot has somewhat Scifi setting and has a heavy atmosphere generally. Storytelling and art is very different from other series. I fell in love with it when I read it back then. It's unfinished as Clamp wanted it to be 6 chapters but the ending is not open or something, so it may be counted as finished as the chapters they wanted to do was probably telling of past or something like that.

Annarasumanara if you haven't read it, you should probably.
