Diablo was so MMO, it had a community and all that stuff. The way I look at it it was just a little before technology was ready for just one large world.

Yeah, Diablo isn't massively multiplayer and it isn't a persistent world, but it's still my favorite game on that list and I still get the urge to play it occasionally so it got my vote.

Other than D2, I liked WoW enough to get a Rogue up to level 60 and a few others up to 30 or so. I played it from the beta period until about a year after it went retail before I lost interest.

Fiesta I liked for a little while, but pretty much lost interest after the closed beta ended. The rest I either never played or didn't play enough to care about mentioning.

I don't really mess with MMOs much these days since they're such a massive timesink. Most (all?) of them, especially the F2P ones, just become a chore anyway with all the ridiculous amounts of grinding needed.

World of Warcraft takes the cake as best/most played MMORPG in my opinion. It's a great game despite its little hiccups here and there.

One of my personal favorites was FFXI. Not that it's great; it's just the community seems rather friendly. Furthermore, what game can keep a player in a single lvling party for 14 hours straight... (alrite, I admit that was me, kinda sad.. rofl).

Lastly, Ragnarok, despite its old age, it has that little toony quality that keeps you wanna return to it every now and then...

okay..you couldnt just write "stop posting" for ur info I found out myself I KNEW what it was but i didnt know what that stood for Ass-crack!

Wow. I would apologize, but your comment, wow. Anyway I won't make this into an argument, I'll just say this and won't take it any further. Don't post in topics you don't know (or don't think you know) just for the sake of it. It ain't lulz at all.

WoW & Diablo are win. Diablo 3 someday will make me happy (I hope). Even though there is nothing announced, a guy can dream.

Agreed.

Indeed, with the recent announcement of Diablo III, I must begin preparations for the virtual desertion of real life again. Sorry real life, we had a good run these past few years, but I think you're going to have to take a back seat again for a little while whenever that game is finally released. bigrazz

I hope I can swing playing it on my current pc, it doesn't look too terribly demanding, but I may upgrade my poor old graphics card anyway.

I basically stay away from all of them lest they screw my life over. But from watching my friends play, WoW is the best for me.
