actually, he sealed hal of kurama into himself and then he was sealed himselfinto the shinigami.
the reason why no one cares that sasuke's gonna fight madara? 'cause we all know he's gonna die--i mean lose against the guy and have everyone else save him.
although, one person mentioned, and i agree, what would have really made it better and seal the deal, would be if sasuke had said "believe it!/dattebayo!" after claiming he'd be hokage.

Why should I care if Sasuke's going against Madara? Madara defeated all 5 Kage that nearly killed Sasuke not too long ago. Unless Kishi gifts Sasuke with another @ss-pull, Sasuke doesn't stand a chance.

If you mean going up against Madara is somehow supposed to forgive him of all his past stupidity, fat chance.

So all you guys think about is the fighting aspect?
I just want to see Madara's reaction when he sees the last Uchiha teaming up with Naruto and saying he wants to be Hokage. Although it's probably nothing much.

If you ask me I could care less why Minato can use Kyuubi's chakra and why Sasuke decides to claim the Hokage title. The explanation for the latter will come anyways.

Pretty good point, since Madara thought that there could be no cooperation between the Sanjuu and Uchiha clan before. Now there might be a chance to make him think that cooperation is possible.

I've re-read the chapters since sasuke starts looking for answers of himself/brother/etc and I realized that the "becoming-good-all-of-a-sudden-crap" was pretty possible.

So you are saying that Itachi could not change his mind but Hashirama could do that made any sense?

@ kaitentsuki Obviously, it wasn't so sudden, because he had been confused for a while after realizing his brother's motives for doing what he did... Hashirama just guided him to the right direction.

It was sudden, or at the very least the decision to become Hokage, I could believe to some extent that he stopped being so emo and hating on all the things in the world, despite that explanation with the Uchiha loving to much, but that he decides to become Hokage was just really abrupt.

Alright, he may have decided, after being told over and over, that protecting the village was the best decision.

But how in the world does that equate to becoming Hokage of all things?

The shinigami technique IS the seal he used to split and contain the kyuubi. If he sealed the kyuubi inside himself with a different technique, there's no reason at all to have used the shiki fuujin. Therefore, if Orochimaru breaks that seal, the kyuubi should no longer be attached to Minato's body. Also, Edo tensei is supposed to duplicate them with techniques that they could use during their lives. Are we expected to believe that sometime between sealing the kyuubi and dying 5-10 minutes later that he mastered controlling it (and the dark chakra at that)?



It's ambiguous. They were all laid out at the end of the battle. And they haven't appeared since. This could mean that Madara let them live because it wasn't worth dealing the final blow, or it could mean that they were dead and he could just leave. Given Madara's personality, I assumed they were dead. It would explain where Orochimaru is at the very least.

Sasuke has EMS which we havent much seen from him so i for one want to see him vs Madara or Obito. Sasuke was affected by Itachi which is why Orochimaru noticed the change in him. So any arguements saying sasuke suddenly became good / wanting to be Hokage are pointless. Asking urself how protecting the village equates to becoming hokage makes me facepalm.... i mean wth do you think the Hokages job is?
Quite frankly id love for Sasuke to become Hokage ive been a fan of his since the start and Naruto will always be my 2nd fave but lets face it this whole idiotic fued is over rivalry and one prevailing over the other and this carried over to who was going to become Hokage. Sasuke becoming Hokage essentially breaks the cycle of Senju VS Uchiha.

We all were told the story of the Sage of six paths and how on his death bed he chose the younger brother over the older brother and this led to the beginning of the fued. We then learned that the older brother was Uchiha whilst the Younger was Senju. So by that Logic Senju has always had a 1 up on Uchiha further my point that Sasuke becoming Hokage is the right choice.

Either that or they stop the hokage thing... or maybe make a duality. I bet naruto will try to stop the uchiha hatred the way u explain tho. He's not gonna let Sasuke die nor he is gonna let the village hate him. In a way naruto became popular in Konoja just to make this happen, i will hate kishi if he does it like that tho.
