Oh , I've never really watched hentai only ones and i really can't remeber it's name it only was like 15 minutes , And oh boy ! it was some scary SH!T , I Still can't get over it .. It's just way too disturbing ..I dont know why would anyone enjoy it O_O . P0rn isn't that better now that these days it's getting so sick , People arent happy with normal sex , So they kinda use stuff and do stuff and ewWW lol .. So None , I'd better watch a good action movie or read a book or watch a normal anime .. Trust me it makes me feel better ! .

I like both. Porn is porn, though, and it all eventually gets boring.

I have times where I watch Hentai more, and times where I watch real stuff more. It goes in phases, I guess.

I join the "phases" opinion. But there are hentai animes as well as mangas that can make me sick (like some of the futanari stuff).
In the end if your partner is into watching stuff to get in the mood it is more likely to be some Viv Thomas porn than tentacle hentai (which I never understood anyway).

i can't stand "real" porn because it's so fake. :-) and most people in it either look gross to me, or can't act. that goes for gay porn as much as for hetero porn, though there are generally better-looking men in gay porn.

i don't care for hentai because it's hetero. i only like yaoi manga and BL drama. i am not into girls/women erotically, and watching them have sex doesn't interest me. yaoi anime all sucks, though i will watch every new release in the vague hope some day it won't suck anymore. it's too expensive to make good anime, and yaoi titles just don't have the budget. many BL dramas are fantastic, on the other hand -- japanese seiyuu can sigh, whimper, beg, moan, and scream up a storm without sounding as fake as most western porn actors.

part of the reason i prefer yaoi manga is because it's idealized and perfected, with just enough plot to give me a reason to fantasize about those characters, and it bears little relation to real sex whatsoever (which is rather a messy affair in comparison). generally my fantasies have very little to do with real-life sex, even if they just happen in my own head, unaided by any external material.

Depends on what I'm looking for. If I'm looking for weird shit, it's just easier to find in hentai. I mean, I've never been able to find a live action film about alien tentacle sodomy.

That said, of course I prefer real porn, especially if the actresses are hot. Jenna Jameson, now there's my dream girl...

Sadly, most porn actresses (and actors, for that matter), don't seem to be really into what they're doing. I agree with Pleochroic there. I suppose it's just an occupational hazard; I for one am glad that I can enjoy sex for its own sake, and not because I have to get paid for it. Plus, very few people are genuine exhibitionists; performing in front of a camera just isn't natural for most of them. Even those that do get paid for it.

But it's also my experience that the more expensive your porn, the better it is. I mean, a live action series like Red Shoe Diaries is pretty damn hot. Not your average run-of-the-mill porn. It's interesting and intense and creative, and uses high-quality actors who really have no trouble losing it on-screen. Technically, stuff like this is often referred to as "erotica" rather than porn -- but hey, anything that's designed to get people off is porn, in my books.

I'm also going to make a somewhat controversial comment here... Is it just me, or is Asian porn usually hotter than Western porn? I have no idea why, but all the Japanese/Indian/Korean porn I've watched has been miles better than the weirdly half-assed American productions I've gotten my hands on. I wonder why that is? Maybe I just haven't been looking at the right stuff, lol.

Gotta agree there I don't even watch it, but I've come across it a couple of times in manga and really, I don't understand why mangaka keep writing about it? I mean, it's an overused and unrealistic plot, so why?!

otakubaybay, tentacle usually involves aliens, weird creatures, or even octopi/squid themselves. And they take their tentacles. And do stuff with them to the characters. Use your imagination for guessing what happens next with the long, slimy, thick, tentacles of theirs. If you can imagine it, it has probably happened in some hentai or another.
