As I understand, 10sigh did not particularly like having his Dorohedoro releases on the site; therefore, the releases were removed and subsequent releases were deleted. Of course, there could be more/other reasons, but I hope this helps for now.

We are not allowing scanning groups such as Version 4 on this site

I think I know the reason. Then again, not every group that fits the criteria has been deleted. So it's hard to say if there's an actual policy or they're deciding on a case-by-case basis.

Seriously, what's going on? Are we even allowed to know?

We've had a policy for a few years now where we do not allow scanning groups. We are allowing older scanner groups/releases to stay in the database, but if we get reports of newer scanner groups or newer scanner releases (even from older groups), we try to remove them.

The fact that they lasted this long just says that no one is reporting them. We can't catch every one ...

Ok, gotcha. I was pretty confused for a moment there. The presence of older scanning groups on the database made me think this was a new, recently introduced policy.

For those who still don't know what we're talking about, this is covered in the FAQ, under Adding Content and Information, How come my release wasn't approved?

The "release" is a scanned volume from an English publisher
We are not allowing scanned volumes of English manga. These are not scanlations.

For future reference, where do we report these?

i need a reason for this other then just a no. i thought this was suppose to be information site and telling the manga is release is information, it doesn't even have to have download link just knowing it important

I agree.

I mean, no offense, this may seem a little unrelated but I can kinda remember you guys saying how you wanted MU to "become known more as a manga database." Which I think is a little strange when information on series are refused here (even if they are unscanlated)... confused

First of all, the two of you are talking about different things

lame2846, there already is a Completely Scanlated? field for a series. But we will NOT be adding any release entries made by scanning groups

CatzCradle, unscanlated series are allowed to be added to the database. However, we do not want unscanlated oneshots, doujinshi, or novels.

I'm talking about release of the delete group

ex:version4 get deleted all their scanlated manga release get deleted too

I'm just want the series show them got release it doesn't even have to group or download link

Erm, you can already kinda do that...
lambchopsil already said releases for those groups won't be added, but there is a way to know if a series is completely scanlated. Just scroll down to the 'Completely Scanlated' field and if there's a yes, it means it is scanlated and most likely had a release already.

From there it is up to you to know where to find the manga and download it. O_O

I mean, just because the release stats was deleted it doesn't mean the actual series info-page was deleted itself, you know... none
