So, I haven't been able to come on here very much for the last month because of major planning for my month long trip to Europe. I am going to really miss it here while I am gone...I think I will have to use the computers at the hostels...
Anyway, I was wondering if anyone from the following countries had any lesser known tips. It isn't like I haven't got myself prepared, but I thought I'd at least ask.
I am going to UK (London), Netherlands (Amsterdam), Germany (Berlin), France (Paris), Italy (Florence & Rome), Greece (Athens), Poland (Warsaw), Denmark (Copenhagen), Sweden (Stockholm).
I can't believe that I will be leaving in a week.....kinda freaking out - but no work for a month sounds really really nice.

Wahhhh~~ I'm so jealous! The only time I got to go to Europe was when I was all of eleven months old. My family had a reunion in Scotland, where there's a town that shares our last name. Anyway, now whenever I talk about wanting to visit Europe my parents bring it up and say that I've already been. Jerks. But that sounds really awesome, you lucky person, you.

Congrats
These are especially if you have motion sickness. You might think you don't have it but fatigue and cramped spaces can really start it when you least expect it.
Lemon does wonders. Especially for long trips on bus (where you can't really get off) or on airplanes, it's good to have some lemon juice or even some lemon slices at you.
Those refreshing napkin thingies help alot too, or even plain perfumed handkerchiefs- just put one to your nose if you're feeling nauseous.
Drinking alot of water for hydratation is a myth. Of course you need to stay hidrated but especially for airplanes, try not to overdo it or else you'll have a funny sensation every time you change altitude.
Never, ever look on the window when the plane is not properly up in the air. It WILL make you very, very dizzy.
Ask at your local drugstore for painkillers, some bandages for minor wounds and what's most important, something to help in case of indigestion and vomit, but let's hope you won't need them at all
I've never been to any of these countries so I really don't know other specific tips ;_;...but I'm pretty sure I'm going to London this summer XD

Sounds like lots of fun. The only place I've been to that is far away is Hawaii so I can't give you any tips plus HeavennevaeH has given you plenty.
I hope to travel to different countries when I have the money for it. I don't know exactly where I want to go since I haven't really thought about it seriously.

Well, you'll be visiting Poland...ignore Warsaw, try to visit some other cities, at least a millenium old, like Cracow, Wrocław ( Breslau ) or Tricity.
How much time are you gonna spend in Poland and when it's gonna be?
Anyway, good luck with all your preparations. If you have questions about Poland, or want any sort of help from someone actually living there - pm me.

You're not going to Belgium? Blasphemous!
But wow, seems like a nice trip~ Hmm, tips for London? >_< It might get confusing that they ride left instead of right, and also keep close watch of your belongings since they will steal it if you daydream! But that's in every world city.

Thats so cool, I want to do all that traveling. I go to Italy every summer to visit relatives who live there though (they are old so they cant travel) And my advice is hold on to your valubles!!! It sounds cliche, and people say it all the time, but people really do steal things (as they do here), especially in the big cities.
My grandma has lived in Italy her entire life, and once, she was riding in her car, and she had a fur coat in her lap, and some people broke the windows while she was stuck in traffic and stole it right out of the car. It was scary.
Have fun on your trip! (by the way, I dont live there or anything, so I'm sure someone who does can give you better advice)

Thanks everyone, I really appreciate your input, this is going to be a wonderful experience! I will hold onto my valuables, drug myself up for the flight, and try and take as many pictures because who knows if I will ever get to go again.

My oh my, such a nice trip.
I never went to Poland or Sweden (pretty cold out there, y'know >.<), but I can give you some tips :
- don't forget that they don't have euros in Denmark (I totally did when I went, though I'm in political sciences, economics and stuff, shame on me... bygones).
- don't forget that you might easily DIE in Paris because of those m**********ers Parisians who hardly manage to drive. I mean, the grands boulevards must be one of the most dangerous areas in the world, right after Sadr City and some crappy district in Detroit. I tried one day to do bicycle, but I had the impression that I could die anytime. Kinda freaked me out.
Must be the same in Italia, judging to what I've seen (Turin and Milan).
- Take the taxis only if you're damn rich, they are so expensive~
- In Berlin, cross the street when it's green for the pedestrians. I remember when we, french savages, crossed when we actually mustn't (but there was no car, so what the heck), and got yelled at pretty bad.
