Honestly it's hard to explain. I've read better stories of Miyamoto Kano but still it's very very good, somehow it was memorable and the characters she made are just great. At first I thought that indeed they are good but not really outstanding, but I fell for them after all... yeah... The plot is good, entertaining (although I wish it could be extended), unique, you know there's not that much of historical yaoi with horror motive or maybe I should say with crime fiction. And it's also really funny, especially for a Kano's work. The sense of humour was made to my liking. The art is Miyamoto Kano's, there's nothing else to add so I gladly recommend this yaoi.

Although I wasn't too taken up with the main couple and the first and last part to it, I really loved the story about Oryou and Younosuke. It actually made me cry, I don't know why...but the idea was just really sad. I think it was executed beautifully.
